Obama to cabinet members: Cut your budgets!

Maobama is asking federal department and agency chiefs to find $100,000,000 to cut from the $3,550,000,000 budget when he held his first formal Cabinet meeting. Ooooh, what a tough cookie -- first, he proposes the trillions in spending -- then says 'hey, you better find some cuts!' And he means a lot of cuts, too --- a healthy 0.0029% worth! That's real noble of him, especially since we have to pay $1.2 BILLION dollars a DAY just in INTEREST!

to put it in manageable numbers Obama is asking for $100 out of every $3.55 million to be cut.

first he cuts our taxes by $20/month, now he reduces the budget....is there anything Obama can't do????

Me PERSONALLY?!

WTF did I do?

I've lost 40 pounds, I'm driving less, I'm driving smarter, I'm moving to the boonies and I'm going to go live off the grid, I'm already cutting back on my abuse of the planet.

I swear, it ain't me, babe,
No, no, no, it ain't me, babe,
It ain't me you're lookin' for, babe.

My wife asked me, 'why has it taken him 3 months to hold his first full cabinet meeting?' It's taken them that long to get their taxes paid.

(semi) OT

based partly on my last comment

Just for the tally books, and because some of you do care, I'm going to a new plastic surgeon on Thursday. I had to shit can the first one as his office staff is wasting air, water, skin and office internet access.

Anyway, I'm going to FINALLY have the plastic surgery, that will allow me to have the gastric bypass, if I so decide.

BUT, I've actually lost way, way more than just the 40 lbs I mentioned. Along with the "growth" / meat apron / pannus having grown, I've lost weight else where. So much so that the doctors think I could have removed 50 to 75 pounds of useless fat. (pretty disgusting huh?) So all told, I've lost between 90 and 115 pounds.

If I could lose that much without a gastric bypass, I'm not going to have the bypass done. I've gotten my endocrine and hormone levels straight enough that my body actually works at about 85% efficiency, so screw the hassle, expense and life style change of gastric bypass.

If you're still scratching your melon, trying to decipher this malady, click my Schteveo.

And now that I've bared my soul, and prodigious gut, where is Snorphty Fingerpoots? He's sneaks in periodically, snarks, rapidly splits, but we NEVER got a health update? Dude, hows de' neck?

Hmmm...Missy ain't been 'round much either...you don't suppose...naw, couldn't happen...could it?

The half-breeds budget cut is just another insult to tax payers.

Spider,
we can insult him back on November 2, 2010 and November 6, 2012.

Or we could just storm the bastille and drag out the guillotines now.

Congratulations Steve! What have you been doing to lose? I need to take off a lot of pounds and would appreciate some advice. Eating less and exercising more works, but it is hard to be motivated!

That's real noble of him, especially since we have to pay $1.2 BILLION dollars a DAY just in INTEREST! We wouldn't be paying so much interest if not for the fiscal mismanagement of Reagan, bush 41 and bush 43. Especially bush 43 who doubled the debt, adding $5 trillion to the total.

Recall that Clinton balanced the budget, left a surplus and was slowly paying down the debt. That's why republicans hated him so much. He was screwing up their plan to bankrupt the government which would pave the way for the capitalist free-for-all conservaties have worked hard to create.

But bush 43 made up for lost time.

Republican Congress + Democrat President = good for the economy?

You keep bringing up Clinton and that was the case then. I assume you are voting straight Republican in the 2010 election in order to get the glorious Clinton years back.

Good idea Steve. I choose #2.
