Shipping and Efficiency, or maybe not

.
My better half, Mrs. Schteveo, bought some puppets for her Sunday School Class, via Algore's interweb. The order was processed in about 14 hours and got shipped before noon, the day after we ordered them. Sounds good to me, but here's where it gets...peculiar.

The shipment did this,

left Earth City Mo, on the 20th,

went to Atlanta,

THEN Dallas, (TX is between NC and GA?)

then it came to Raleigh, (alright, PUPPETS!!, not so quick)(it was turned over to the US Postal Service on the 28th)

they sent it to Atlanta, (again with Atlanta?)

they sent it to Charlotte (well at least that's the right state finally / again)

...it will be BACK here, delivered to us on the 4th or 5th.

So much for efficiency, huh? I think the people routing for FedEx used to work on Wall Street.
.
.
UPDATE Thursday 12:33 the puppets just arrived how's that for efficiency!! 5 days early!(?)
.
.

Always insist on USPS Priority Mail. It's cheaper (and) faster.

Sounds like you are want to start a cult there, Steveo! Don't all cult leaders want church puppets?

Just couldn't help myself-I had to make a little joke and it was a tiny tiny one at that!
