If nobody can READ it, who WROTE it?

.
Here's an article that talks about how hard it is to read Federal Legislation. The article is about the Obamacare Program, but if the shoe fits...

It almost comes out and says that it is IMPOSSIBLE to read ANY current legislation. I'll buy that premise, but if our elected officials can't read it, who the hell wrote it? Seriously, I understand that "staff" writes this swill, but that's NOT supposed to be how this works. "Staff" should work FOR the elected worm, and the worm works FOR me. Besides which,
.
I didn't vote for "staff", I voted for a person who ran for the office!

How often does "staff" get replaced? Who controls "staff" IF they write legislation, then hand it to the worms to vote on? Isn't this the tail wagging the dog?
.
Beyond that, IF this legislation is that convoluted, how did it grow to ONE THOUSAND plus pages in a matter of just weeks after the inauguration? Could it be that this bill was written and waiting for whomever got elected if the Democrats won? That's awfully cynical, isn't it? But given the crap I see "my" government doing right now, I'm betting I'm not the only one feeling cynicism about all things federal.

I didn't vote for any of those clowns. But the appointees have no reason to be writing stuff by the clowns that were voted in by morons who won't even read this drivel. Maybe there should be a basic reading and writing test before someone can run for office.

So, you thought the crook you voted for is the one making the laws? (LOL) The young, anonymous staff workers are the people who actually run this country. This is not new. They write the laws, they have the ear of the lying, elected crooks, so in fact, it's their ideas/wants/agendas that get passed into law, not yours or mine.

But fear not, because the staffers don't have complete control over our lives and the elected, lying crooks. They share that control with lobbyists. They are the people who put hundreds-of-millions a year into the pockets of the lying crooks you vote for. And since the elected crooks you vote for have almost noting to say about what becomes law, (since they have no idea what's in these bills) it's actually the staffers and lobbyists who run things. When was the last time you voted for a staffer or a lobbyist?

In fact, when you take a close look at DC, you will notice that the only people who have NO voice in what happens, are the fools who vote. Why are they fools? Well, look at the past 5 congressional elections. What has changed, and how has it changed?

QUOTABLE QUOTES:

"The ultimate Dirty Little Secret is that, in too many cases, sovereign individuals allowed Nanny State largess to transform them from rugged, self-reliant individuals into parasitic wards of the all powerful Nanny State. That makes the preferred solution - a return to Constitutional principals - a tough sell. Gloomy Gus that I am, I fear that it will take a complete collapse of the Great American Nanny State's house of cards to make a properly-Constitutional American government a viable option. "

I understand the system. What I want is NAMES. I want to WHOM and WHEN.

We all understand the system, but that won't change it, nor will voting change it. Remember what Albert Einstein said about doing the same thing over and over again? It's not the people that have to be changed, it's the system.

So after the revolution we impose term limits on staff too.

After the revolution, there won't be any staff. We'll put brother Poots in charge of hiring an all new female staff. In that way, you know they'll be "pre-qualified".
