Another One Bites the Dust..Yeah,and another one does, and another one does...

.
OK, we're 9 months out from the 2010 elections, and a Democrat WHO WAS LEADING in the polls, withdraws his run for re-election.
.
US President Barack Obama suffered another setback Monday as a fifth Democratic senator, centrist heavyweight Evan Bayh, decided not to run for re-election in dismay at the bitter political climate.

Obama, who reportedly tried to talk Bayh out of retiring, faces a looming Republican resurgence and risks watching strong majorities in Congress crumble in November mid-term elections, and with them his ambitious reform agenda.

With his tearful wife and two sons at his side, Bayh, 54, expressed disenchantment with excessive partisanship in the Congress as he announced his decision at a press conference in the state capital Indianapolis.

"For some time, I have had a growing conviction that Congress is not operating as it should. There is too much partisanship and not enough progress -- too much narrow ideology and not enough practical problem-solving," he said.

"Even at a time of enormous challenge, the peoples? business is not being done."

Democrats expressed shock at the development, seeing it both as the loss of a key consensus builder in the Senate and of a candidate strongly favored to win re-election in Republican-leaning Indiana.

.
When the front running, strong swimming rats leave the ship, the Captain better watch his ass, huh?

Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California has now identified with certainty the heaviest element known to science.

The new element, Pelosium (PL), has one neutron, 25 assistant neutrons, 88 deputy neutrons, and 198 assistant deputy neutrons, giving it an atomic mess of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons.

Pelosium is inert, and has no charge and no magnetism. Nevertheless, it can be detected because it impedes every reaction with which it comes into contact. A tiny amount of Pelosium can cause a reaction that would normally take less than a second, to take from 4 days to 4 years to complete.

Pelosium has a normal half-life of 2 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a biennial reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places.

Pelosium mess will increase over time, since each reorganization will promote many morons to become isodopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Pelosium is formed whenever morons reach a critical concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as critical morass.

When catalyzed with money, Pelosium becomes Senatorium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Pelosium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

Over at the Drudge Report, they've got this story tagged as a farewell to the Senator, it says,

Bayh, Bayh!!

I wish I'd thought of that.

Talk about biting the hand that feeds you.

Do you think republicans will continue to pay you to sit around on your fat ass collecting money from those of us who still work to support you?

Hey anon, welcome back MFer, I wanted to talk to you. Hey lib lover, I did my taxes yesterday, guess what? I OWE INCOME TAX. Did then jointly, then did Mrs. Schteveo's as a single, SHE'D get back a little over $300 by herself, together we OWE $352. So, you see, ass muncher, that isn't free money, I'm getting taxed just like you. The government you think is SSSSOOOOO fucking good to me, is taxing me $652, for the GD privilege of being disabled.

Now don't get me wrong, paying my taxes and voting are the things I think must be done in order to have a right to bitch. And we do have some savings to pay the taxes with, but what about disabled people living on JUST their disability? Do you think they should be taxed? Or is it just the FAT WHITE GUYS who should be taxed? But what about the people who don't have those savings? And WHY should someone who's dependent on the government anyway have to return some of their money to the government?

From a strictly bookkeeping standpoint, wouldn't it be better to just cut $50 a month out of my check? Seriously, one arm of a group giving, and another arm of the same group making sure some of the giveaway HAS TO BE given back, is double work, further proof of our governments hyper efficiency. Why?

You won't answer any of this, you'll laugh and say your glad, I deserve it for being a hypocrite, etc, but fuck you anyway, in advance.

News reports are now saying that one reason Bayh is getting out may be because an almost unknown Republican who's running against him is way ahead in the polls. (why wait to get thrown out when you can walk out) Come Nov., there's going to be a lot of whining, crying liberals out there. Maybe, (i hope) we'll see another Jonestown? Don't ya just love it!

I looked at the polls yesterday, Bayh was UP by 12 points when he quit. At one point in late Jan., Mike Pence (R) had him by 3 points, but then Pence decided NOT to run for the seat.

The big shocker is this woman D'ippolito. She's probably going to get to run, because she'll have enough signatures on petitions, to get on the ballot. The Dem machine in IN is crapping their pants over it, because her being on the ballot blocks them from APPOINTING a candidate. To bad, so sad.

[I will say FOX is cleaning up her act though. In her interview this AM, she said, ""Pretty much people are angry. There IS many issues -- economy, education and health care are the three main issues in Indiana...". FOX placed it as, "...THERE'S many issues...", which isn't a hell of a lot better. I don't want to be the speech police here, but I think that ARE the mark of someone not very educated. And I'll betcha the IN Dems will latch onto that, and try to show her to be stupid.

Good god you idiot. Conservatives don't believe ANYONE should be depending on government for their support, disabled or otherwise. I'ts one of the basic beliefs of being a conservative!

You take care of yourself, I'll take care of myself. If you need help, disabled or otherwise, you seek help from your people, don't force me to support you.

What part of that don't you understand about your vile, disgusting ideology?
