Well, at first i though she ran off into the desert with Poots, but i doubt he would've kept her away this long. A few hours maybe, but not this long, so there must be another reason for her dumping us like a one night stand in Tijuana.

something must have gotten her knickers in a knot for her to leave so abruptly and without much of a trace. I don't recall her saying much as far as a goodbye.
Billy O, she did say she and Big Jack were gonna take some big trips, and I don't think she meant mescaline. That was in late '08, then she made a couple more posts, the last on Feb 6, 2009.
I understand taking a break, I was going to, but it's been temporarily postponed. It's just that I find it odd that someone who was as vociferous about their beliefs as she was, would, or COULD, just cease and desist with it. Then again...
I've wondered, a time or two, during the name change, blog disappearance then reappearance days, IF we weren't being used as guinea pigs. I've mulled it over since then too, given her now long absence. I believe she was for real, make no mistake, but I think she was a great student of human nature at the same time. Waddya tink? Was she stirring us up, then looking at the responses, to write a thesis or dissertation?

Steve makes some interesting points, as usual. But if that's the case, why not simply tell us? I doubt anyone here would mind being that kind of a test subject. And as i recall, she said something about her and Big Jack going off into the desert to do some shooting. If that was the case, and something went wrong, (hopefully not) i assume one of us would've heard about it.
I was impressed with Annie from the day i started here, and always considered her a genuine person. But i must say, i'm very disappointed in her for simply disappearing without so much as an explaination or a goodbye. But i still hope she's well.
Spider, you can't tell the guinea pigs that they are guinea pigs, it screws up the data. Once the gp's know they are being tested, they cease acting naturally, and you don't want un-natural gp's. In fact, some gp's react violently, and hold up their little, furry, middle-fingers.
I have on several occassions attempted to contact her, over the past year, and as recently as when this post was posted. Their was no response nor undeliverable message sent. I can only assume it was trashed
anon, your e-mails could be just stacking up in an old account, that's set to kill the oldest e-mails automatically. I'm just surprised she disappeared like this.
Even politicians don't retire from politics this thoroughly.

I suspect it had something to do with the abusive poster who showed up for a bit. He disappeared around the same time she did.
I doubt that seeing how she used to eat them up and spit them out.
