PC Run Amuck. Again!

Staten Island is one of NYC's five boroughs, (counties) and is the only place in the entire city that tends to be conservative. It's made up of middle-class working families, with many of the city's cops and firemen living there. But, like the rest of the country, it seems the hideous virus known as political correctness has managed to slither into this well-kept, and well-run community. When PC starts to come in, common sense is pushed aside, as in this case.

Once again, as is becoming all too common, we see some "Edu-Nazi" political hack put in charge of a public school and turning it into her own concentration camp. The principle in this story proves a point i've been making for a long time. Being educated is not the same as being smart. In fact, far from it. If i know the people of Staten Island, the lawyers are already gearing up for battle, and in this case, rightfully so...

But if you have a "Zero Tolerance Policy", then it removes the NEED for critical thought.

I think, but have no proof, that educated people used to get a broad smattering of information. But the hand full of PHd's and MBA's, MBE's I know, have NOTHING of substance in their heads. They've trained in so narrow a scope, that they know NOTHING. I expect Principal DeVille is no different.

Here's my tail of woe from the public school system.

When our younger son was in 7th grade, he wasn't so much bullied by some other kid, as they just didn't like each other, that chemical dislike thing we all get from time to time. On next to the last day of school, this other boy thought it would be funny to turn my sons desk over. With him still in it!!

Matt went to his ass, they were sent to the principals office and BOTH were expelled. My son was expelled for being "retaliatory", the other boy for being "too forceful". As if they'd been playing and someone had gotten a black eye.

But the school system has a "Zero Tolerance Policy" for fighting.

I have a problem with ANY system that equates the assaulter and the victim as both being guilty. Of course, that goes hand-in-hand with "allowing" rapists to just finish, so they'll go away quicker. Stupid, liberal, horseshit.

I miss Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd cartoons. They had to quit airing them because of the dreaded use of... of... of... GUNS!

Ditto Yosemite Sam.

And Popeye was "too physical" - always beating up the bad guys (as opposed to coddling them).

A nation of pussies.

The first man married a woman from OHIO. He told her that she was to do the dishes and house cleaning. It took a couple of days, but on the third day, he came home to see a clean house and dishes washed and put away.

The second man married a woman from MICHIGAN. He gave his wife orders that she was to do all the cleaning, dishes and the cooking. The first day he didn't see any results, but the next day he saw it was better. By the third day, he saw his house was clean, the dishes were done and there was a huge dinner on the table.

The third man married a girl from THE SOUTH. He ordered her to keep the house cleaned, dishes washed, lawn mowed, laundry washed, and hot meals on the table for every meal. He said the first day he didn't see anything, the second day he didn't see anything but by the third day, some of the swelling had gone down and he could see a little out of his left eye, and his arm was healed enough that he could fix himself a sandwich and load the dishwasher. He still has some difficulty when he urinates.

I say we fry that little delinquent. God forbid he should be proud of his father, a man who put his life on the line to protect the public. Oh-- I'm sorry, is it ok to say God?

Don't you know that he could have poked somebody's eye out with that thing??? They should also ban pens and pencils!
