TX man flies plane into IRS Offices in Austin

.
Suffice it to say this guy had a beef with the IRS, he wrote a Manifesto. His writings say he was pissed at the IRS, the U.S. Government, and the Catholic Church. I guess one person dead and one missing, per Fox at 15:00 EDT.
.
The WH initially said it WASN'T terrorism. No, then what is it then, a tiff, a tantrum, a difference of opinion? It's DOMESTIC terrorism, aimed at people who work for the IRS, regardless of who they work for, they are PEOPLE, and he wanted to kill them. Once again the WH is wrong, wrong, wrong, on what constitutes a terrorist act.
.
Reports are, that he set his house on fire, with his wife and daughter inside. They escaped, thank God. Personally, I think he aimed at the wrong government building, he was off by several thousand miles.

It was reminiscent of 9/11 so yes, I'd call it terrorism... copy cat terrorism.

Oh, too bad, someone deleted a comment that was abusive, irrelevant and not wanted.

Goodbye Anon. If you've got time to post them, I got time to delete them.

We need to ban airplanes.

uh, Bro Poots, planning on getting a job sweeping out bodegas in Apache Junction, if they ban airplanes? Banning airplanes would definitely break your rice bowl, I do believe.

Unfortunately, this will give all the Mooselambs around the country (and world) the chance to say, "see, it's your own people". I wonder if the guy ever worked for the Post office.

If you looked closely - you'll see that that is a Neil Boortz website. The guy can be hilarious! I love listening to him on the radiddio - although his ultra-libertarian ways CAN sometimes rub me the wrong way.

ter·ror·ism (těr'ə-rĭz'əm)
n. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, (often for ideological or political reasons).

This morning, while watching the news nitwits who are all over this airplane story, it was clear they're all bending over backwards to call this "terrorism". But is it. Calling it terrorism would probably take some of the heat off the now politically-protected and oh-so sensitive Mooselambs in this country, so i can see why the PC'ized media would go that way..

IMO, i don't see this flying psycho as a "terrorist", not in the context of the war we're fighting with Al-Q and world-wide terrorism. Now if the guy had been a radical Mooselamb, my opinion would be different. (ie: Ft. Hood) This case is about a guy who's obviously a "few cans short of a six-pack" (mentally speaking) who was perhaps being hounded by the notorious IRS. (and they can easily drive you to that point) For those who have been in that spot, the guys actions may be something many people would have loved to have done, but were stopped by the limits of sanity. And because of that, (IMO) this was a criminal act, not a terrorist one.

Spider,
he ABSOLUTELY did this for political and ideological reasons! Did you read his diatribe?

And he was a nut, no doubt, but he did stupid stuff that caused some of his troubles.

[where's the troll, did it give up after one deletion]

I stand corrected Steve. I just got a look at his full note.

Nevermind...
