Our blind, unelected, totally unqualified governor is a typical political hack. He's been hanging around Albany politics for years, waiting for some crumbs to fall off the table. As is usually the case, (ie: the president) he has surrounded himself with equally unqualified blacks who's only qualifications seem to be that they're black, Demoncrats, and know how to keep their mouths shut. Hopefully.

When it comes to corrupt and incompetent governments, Albany has Chicago beat by a country mile!

At least your unelected, unqualified governor has the sense to NOT run for re-elec...uh...election. Ours is going right ahead with his campaign. The good news is that after telling us how he wants to raise our state income tax by 50% and kicking the duly elected Lt. Gov. nominee off the ticket (and not allowing the black guy who came in second take his place), it looks like we have a chance of a non-democrat being in the mansion soon.

I just heard Limbaugh going on about the Democrats NOT supporting a blind, black man. It was pretty funny.

But I gotta ask, what did he THINK was going to happen when he helped an Aide beat an abuse charge? Was he expecting an award from NOW, or NAACLP? Stupid is, as stupid does sir.

LabRat, it's not Patersons good sense that's stopping him from running, it's the mounting preasure from his fellow Dumbocrats, because he's making too many waves and bringing too much attention to what else is going on in Albany. If anyone ever shines a light on that place, i doubt we'd have enough handcuffs to go around.

The gov needed to protect his aid, because of one of politics oldest reasons, he knows where all the bodies are buried.

And yes, Andrew (jr socialist) Cuomo is just sitting back and enjoying this. He's been drooling over the prospect of getting his uber-liberal fathers old chair in the governors office. And since he's very much like his old man, we just might be better off with the blind black guy!

QUOTABLE QUOTES
"These citizen cadres of conservatism who will reclaim our land do not take orders from above. We operate individually, like tens of millions of independent, autonomous minds, guided only by broad principles and objectives, and seeking less to capture any citadel or city than to liberate them all. Free men tend to take freedom for granted. It is almost in the nature of that treasure. But when free men fight, slave armies lose. That war is being fought, and won, right now."

Anon,
I went to The American Thinker and read that entire article. I love the quote you posted, but this paragraph here, to me, is truth at it's core. It's WHY we'll win, not how.

The left does not grasp unselfish sacrifice. The Founding Fathers, to the students of moral nihilism produced by our colleges today, must have had a mercenary interest in our independence. What about those soldiers with bleeding feet who with stayed Washington at Valley Forge? They must have been dupes, however poignantly their own letters reveal otherwise. It is not just the left which cannot grasp fighting for higher ideals, it has become a whole, encrusted system of privilege and power which finds sacrifice "stupid."

Absolutely, the lefty leaders are willing to have their minions suffer and sacrifice, but Obama, Pelosi, Reid, et al, suffering or sacrificing at this point,

BWAAHHAAAAaaaaa!!!

It's simply not going to happen. And the fact that they're unwilling to march through the snow with rags for shoes, is their weakness.

Not that I'm willing at any point to side with the Communists, but there's a great line about the VC, in "Apocalypse Now". Martin Sheen is doing a monologue about going home, R & R, winning, valor, war, etc. He's talking about the Americans working toward a year in country so he could just be done with the war and go home. But when he was talking about the Viet Cong, he said R & R was a bowl of cold rice, and the only way he could go home was to win.

And not that our guys DIDN'T sacrifice and suffer, but the SAME liberal thinking that lost that war, is fighting for control here, and not understanding Personal sacrifice is their Achilles Heel. And when you look at the three top dogs now on our left, I see no bumps, skinned knees or scrapes in their lives.

It must be nice.

Then again, I appreciate and understand what I've got. For the most part, liberals I know do not!

Now that this scandal is growing faster each day. i wouldn't be a bit surprised to see our blind, black, unelected governor, and his hand-picked, black, unquailified, State Police Superintendent wearing matching handcuffs in the very near future.
