A few weeks ago, I heard Rush Limbaugh say he hopes the SOCIALIST agenda of President BOHICA fails.

Since then I've had even very Conservative friends misquote him, and question if hoping for failure is right for the country. Why are they wondering? Because they didn't hear the original Limbaugh show, they've ONLY heard the misquote. But in typical fashion, NO ONE has called the MSM, or lying Democrats, on the continued misquote.

Pelosi, Reid, BOHICA mouth pieces, et. al. have had ample face time to repeat the misquote. Not one Conservative has come out to attempt to set the record straight that I've seen or heard. Not even the talking heads at, supposedly Fair and Balanced, FOX has taken the liars to task over it.

The party line is that IF the Conservatives, Libertarians and non-liberals start being out front, telling the truth, calling the Dems and MSM on their lies, then the Conservatives, Libertarians or non-liberals will get no air time, no magazine or newspaper coverage. First, I don't believe that, it's too simplistic a view given the access we have to news now. Here's what the Conservatives, Libertarians, and non-liberals need to do, call a news conference to say,

"Starting today, we're going to call the Liberal Democrats on their lies. And if the MSM refuses to cover us and the TRUTH, well that's FINE. We'll just use C-Span in both houses of Congress, and the internet, to set the record straight.

If, after this news conference, you stop covering ANY of us because of this stand, be aware, eventually your viewers and readers will wonder WHY you've got no stories or quotes from us. Your Conservatives, Libertarians and non-liberal customers will question your non-coverage immediately. At some point even the liberal viewers and readers will begin to ask why the Conservatives, Libertarians, and non-liberals have disappeared from coverage. They'll want coverage of us in the media too, they'll demand coverage so as to be informed about our country and our government.

If after this news conference, you cease to cover us it's your right. There is no law that makes you cover us, or the Conservatives, Libertarians or non-liberal views of issues.

But be notified, in the future and at the point where you begin to cover us again, after the demands come in from your readers and viewers, we'll throw YOU under the bus along with the Liberal Democrats who have lied. No quarter will be given to MSM outlets that print lies and half truths or who try to silence us through non-coverage. Starting today, we demand equal, and truthful, coverage in American MSM.

It won't happen, but I'd cheer if it did. If their fear is that standing up to the MSM will get them bumped from the media, so what? They don't use the media to get any message out or get the TRUTH out anyway. Where's the loss in them getting NO coverage in the MSM, to do NOTHING anyway?

Well said Steve, and you're right, even the phonies at Fox don't touch this one. All they've done is simply repeat the same line the Demoncrats "invented" and use. The problem with Conservatives is that, well, they're too conservative! They allow the left to kick them around with lies almost every day, with no come-back. That's exactly why the Republicans are out in the cold.
As i've been saying here for a long time, the only way to effectively fight the left, is to use their tactics. Then, and only then, will we see things start to change.

I've heard that too, but where else? Those 4 or 5 places you named are preaching to the choir. Rush defending Rush is a no go, no point, no win. Who's listening but the people who heard the original quote.
What I'm talking about is anyone, ANYONE from the duly elected Conservative dog catcher in Small Place, Iowa, to one of our duly elected, Federally serving WORMS, getting to a camera somewhere and standing up for the truth. Not just about the Limbaugh thing Anon, about ANYTHING!!!
This crap of letting out right lies stand makes ALL of us who vote non-liberal look bad. Not fighting lies about yourself is gutless. It's definitely undermined any power they'll regain in the next 5 elections. And allowing lies to become "fact" and have any weight is how guys like Hitler, Stalin, Mao, etc. take power.

I have also heard them and most of the time they simply say, "Rush wants the president to fail". They may think their listeners know what they mean, but usually don't come right out and say it. And i watch a lot of TV.
What's the difference? He wants the socialist policies of the pres to fail. The pres's policies are all socialist. Therefore, he wants al of the pres's policies to fail. Therefore, he wants the pres to fail. Lets not hide behind semantics.
That this talk show host wants BOHICA to fail is no different than the 2006 poll that showed the majority of liberals and democrats in America wanted Bush to fail.
Any liberal taking some moral high ground over Rush should have that jammed straight up their ass.
Did I mention that I don't even like Rush? Yet here I am defending him, because what he said is a perfectly reasonable thing to say (even if I don't agree).
I've said many times that I hope Obama gets things figured out and becomes a great president. I would love for him to be a candidate to have his face carved into Mount Rushmore.
However, history has proven time and again that presidents that forget that they won by only a slim majority (as they always do) will have half the country pissed at them if they take some radical leftist or rightist tack. To be great, Obama has to go middle of the road, and he has to stop dooming and glooming and start leading us out of this mess we are in. We don't need someone to tell us how bad it is, and use that as an excuse to go far leftist. We need someone to lead us out of this mess with reasonable, logical, and correct response to what is happening.
Sometimes, that includes companies going out of business, even if they are "too big" to fail.
