Are We Targets?

One of the reasons this story caught my attention was because, while having diner with several close friends back at the end of January, i overheard this subject briefly mentioned. It was the first time i'd heard anything about it. Had i been with a different group, i probably would not have paid any attention, but since my friends are all members of the FBI's Anti-Terrorism Task Force, i most certainly did pay attention. Later, when i casually asked one of them what that was about, all i got was a stare. In other words, leave it alone!

If the details in this story are true, and right now, (and especially in light of the above) i have no basis to disbelieve it, this is some scary stuff. If there is an "unofficial" effort underway to compile some type of database on people who are seen as a threat simply because of their political beliefs, or perhaps, because of their dissatisfaction with our out-of-control government, then this is something that needs to be brought out into the sunlight, ASAP! And since the govt.'s in the hands of the Left, i wouldn't count on the MSM to bring it out. Information like this, especially in the hands of the left-wing liars and spin doctors, could be used as a basis for all kinds of regulations and laws. The most obvious being gun control. As we know, there are people in Obomber's administration who are "actively" looking for ways to turn the 2nd Amendment around, if not do away with it all together. This could be the perfect vehicle for them to use.

As usual, groups like Code-Pink, LaRaza, ACORN, the ACLU, and other radical Left-wing groups appear to be immune. Gee, what a surprise...

This is nothing to woryy about. If this was started in 2004, then it's bound to be overturned. President BOHICA will undoubtedly over turn this.

He's undoing everything else GWB did.

tinfoil hat stuff, man. Cops "keep an eye" on all sorts of things: it is their job, after all.

That a memo prompted them to look into right wing nutjobs is nothing new. I am certain that there is a memo rolling around telling them to keep watch on left wing nutjobs like ecoterrorists, too.

Nutjobs live on both sides of the political spectrum. If you read the report, it will become obvious that the article in question really put a spin on what the report actually said.

They aren't saying you are a terrorist because of your ideology, they are saying that you are a terrorist if you act out on your ideology, like Tim McVeigh, and commit an act of...

you know... TERROR.

Isn't placing a particular bumper sticker on your car acting out your ideology? And isn't it also your First Amendment right?

The guy in the dress - what-is-name - Hoover? Hoover didn't keep files, either, huh? Neither did the Clintons, huh? FBI files? What FBI files? And the Clintons never sicked their IRS attack dog on anyone - it was all just... a strange coincidence.

We're just being paranoid. Yeah, that's the ticket. Just simple paranoia. We should trust the government completely. "Nothing to see here folks, move along - go watch 'American Idol' like good little people".

Paranoid people live free longer. Or I should say, ARMED paranoid people live free longer.

"There's othing to worry about" sheople starve (or are executed) young.

I'll keep looking over my shoulder, thank you.

Never forget, that law enforcement is an arm of the government, whether federal, state, or local. And they can be "federalized" with the stroke of a pen. Don't believe for one minute that the majority (like the military) would stand with the people, rather than the government.
