BOHICA is going to sign the spending bill, going against his campaign promise to eliminate earmarks (to the tune of 8600). Not Bush's fault. Bend over, America.

But after five weeks in office, it's become clear that Mr. Obama's policies are slowing, if not stopping, what would otherwise be the normal process of economic recovery. From punishing business to squandering scarce national public resources, Team Obama is creating more uncertainty and less confidence -- and thus a longer period of recession or subpar growth.

come on HLF the article & quotes come from teh WSJ - not from anyone here - tell us the WSJ has it wrong

what if it came at 3AM??

Are you saying the WSJ is the ultimate source of unbiased opinion? These are the people who served as cheerleaders for the deregulation that caused this whole thing.

How do they have it wrong? You can't turn around a depression in 2 months. "Mr. Obama's policies" haven't even taken effect yet. Not one budget has passed, not one spending bill has been signed, almost no stimulus money has gone out.

I think you assholes know that, you just delight in bad news since you lost the election. You're bad losers, bad citizens and frankly, bad people. You'd just as soon see the car crash since you don't get to drive. You really are the worst subhuman garbage on the planet.

That's why I take much comfort in knowing that you are suffering at the same rate as everyone else, that your kids' are going to suffer for your devotion to republicans and face a darker future.

You sat on your fat asses while the republicans sat on their fat asses and watched the economy tank and it tanked before Obama even took office.

Honestly, you people are disgusting. Terrible people. I wish you and yours nothing but suffering.

T. B. Bechtel, a part-time City Councilman from Midland, TX, was asked on a local live radio talk show, just what he thought of the allegations of torture of the Iraqi prisoners. His reply prompted his ejection from the studio, but to thunderous applause from the audience.

HIS STATEMENT:

'If hooking up an Iraqi prisoner to a car's battery cables will save just one Texas GI's life, then I have just three things to say,'

Red is positive,
Black is negative, and
Make sure his nuts are wet.'

Here's the question for today.

Do those of you who allow this liberal piece of shit to abuse and insult you do it because you enjoy it, or because you need it?

Anonymous said...

So bar me from the site. You'd be doing me a favor. Coming here and telling you walking dirty assholes what ignorant pieces of shit you are is feeling a bit sadistic.

Honestly people, check your souls if you have them. We're going through very difficult times and all you can do is delight in bad news. You're horrible people. Seriously.

And all because you lost the election. Because if you couldn't win you want the country to collapse. You're evil.

So tell me. If McCain/Plain had won would the market have gone back to 14K from 8K? Would Bear Stearns, Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers been resurrected? Would AIG pay back all the money and be back in the black? Would the banks all become solvent again? Would the housing market go back to the glory days of 2005?

All the bad things happened BEFORE Obama took office. They were the result of years worth of neglect and economic mismanagement. But you expect Obama to turn it around in 2 months? Really?

Check your souls people. If you have kids think about them. You and they won't escape the bad times. No one will. Your delight in failure is only going to fuck up their futures.

But I'm not even sure you care about that. That's how craven and ignorant most of you are.

HLF,

I'm sure every last conservative asshole on this site would agree that the economy was in bad shape before Obama took office. Why can't you just admit that Obie's policies are just pouring gas on a fire. He's destroying the economy on purpose. He's hurting you and me just to forward his agenda.

If its bad when "cons" do it, why is it good when your guy does it.

Again, you're just an Obama nut. He can do no wrong becuase you voted for him and if he's wrong, then that means you were wrong and you just can't ever be wrong can you?

Anonymous said...

Nothing he has done has had any effect whatsoever. You think it has? After 2 months? LESS than two months! With not one budget passed? Are you stupid?

Nevermind, I know the answer.

Just this morning Bernanke said we need to spend MORE to shore up the economy the banks. I hate that as much as anyone but we have little choice. Do you want widespread social unrest? In Ireland, scene of the supposed "capitalist miracle", they've already had mini-riots over deteriorating economic conditions. Are you fucking geniuses going to say he's wrong too?

Again, tell me what McCain/Palin would have done. Would we be in conservatism's Utopian fantasy world?

You are destructive, bad people. Bad citizens. Bad humans.

I think hlf is funny

Not one budget passed?

WTF?

he spent 700 BILLION DOLLARS you fucking idiot!

With his popularity Obama could have done anything he wanted. He chose poorly.I know you don't believe that now because you are still going to be blaming Bush 3 years from now when we really are in the great depression.

I've tried to talk to to you and be civil but I'm done. You have the mental capacity of a 15 year old (still young enough to know everything).

In 2 years when the cons have a super majority in congress it will be because the "stimulus" resulted in mass debt and 25% unemployment. You and your kind are just shooting yourself in the foot.

And bush spent $5 trillion. That's how much the debt rose in his 8 years. The stimulus money hasn't been spent yet. How could it have any effect? I guess you think it's the anticipation that has trhe markets tanking? That must be why Bernanke, most ewconomists and the Wall Street crooks themselves say we need to spend MORE on tabilizing the banks and on stimulus.

You people aren't going to have a mini-majority much less super. You want to see where you'll be in 2010? Go look at how far down republicans dropped by 1937, the last time republican policies gave us a Depression. Those filthy assholes were locked out of the White House for 20+ YEARS and dropped to 19% of Congress by 1937.

Let me say that again: NINETEEN PERCENT.

The dismal failure of conservatism that brought us this meltdown assures republicans being in the minority for DECADES.

But you keep hoping for failure, you piece of shit, so that you can play 1994 again. AIN'T GONNA HAPPEN. People HATE republicans for what they've done.

And speculating on what McCain would have done is like masturbating, it means NOTHING. That also doesn't address my question which was:

Where would we be right now if McCain had won? Same place? Doing GREAT? Would you idiots be blaming him for the continued slide? Or do you think we would have had a miraculous recovery in 40 days of stellar McCain/Palin leadership?

Keep hoping for failure. It just proves how evil you are.

McCain didn't win as you keep reminding us. Why do you care what he would have done. The fact is your guy won now he has to take all the shit we're going to give him. Just like Bush had to take all of your shit. You don't seem to listen asswipe. You just keep spewing the same thing over and over.

You are correct that Obama has only been in office less than 2 months so we really can't blame him for anything. I assume we can start to blame him for EVERY come September 11 2009. This was the exact amount of time you gave Bush to fix the the whole "terrorism" mess laft by Clinton.

Yes the stock market is completely based on speculation. You buy stocks you think are going to go up and sell stocks you think are going to go down.

I'm glad you know your history but the Democratic party of the 30s and 40s aint the same as it is today. That was the party of the KLAN. The dems back then would have hung Obama for being "uppity". Is that the party you identify with? You seem so proud of what they did back then. Remember, Lincoln was a Republican.

I don't want the economy to fail that is why I'm being critical of the administration. I seem to remember that a year ago it was patriotic to critisize the president. Seems you libs can dish it out but can't take it.

You won and there is nothing we can do about. But you and your president will have to take all of shit that comes along with it. Your team controls the entire federal government now. When something goes wrong, we know who to blame.

"Grammie" or whatever name he wants to call me!! said...

After 9/11 bush had the full support of EVERYONE.

This economic crisis is FAR worse than 9/11 and threatens our way of life more than 9/11 did. That's been said by many experts.

Financial crisis biggest threat to security: report

Yet you people and your vile leadership will stymie any attempts to alleviate the crisis out of political grandstanding. Did anyone do that to Bush? He spent BILLIONS filling the pockets of cronies under the guise of "Homeland Security". Hell, we even let him spend a trillion in Iraq!

Your hopes for failure and destructive criticism are only contributing to the problems.

If we get the social unrest you crave I hope that the conservatives bear the brunt of the damage. I hope the wealthy conservatives are the ones who get beaten trying to escape their compounds, that their children are the ones kidnapped.

You want a South American-style social order? Here's hoping you enjoy the effects. You think you can escape the unheavals? Think again.

Good luck with all those guns you think will keep you safe. The people without will have more.
