Apparently, when state and local government officials look at the things going on in DC, they must say, hey, if they can do it, why can't we! The result is that every elected crook in this country is now staying up nights dreaming up new taxes. It's the only way they know to get free money. No, these new tax scams don't have to make sense, be rational, or even legal, but we'll still be charged and the elected lying crooks will have more of our money to waste, steal, and give away.
If i were one of the lying crooks in govt., the question i would be asking myself is, is there no limit to the amount of abuse the people will tolerate. The answer seems to be, apparently not...

The time for revolution is now. Our (non)representatives at the state and federal levels have failed to live up to the oath they have sworn and that is to uphold and defend the Constitutions of the USA and their individual states. The states and feds have less money coming in because no one is making it so raising taxes is turning all of us into slaves, beholden to the government to support us. In the 1770's a tea party led to a declaration that led to a war.
MD recently rediscovered an old licensing fee on Soda Fountains. I suspect it was more of a health inspection on the old Soda Jerk, but they are going to apply it to todays soda fountains - all fast food joints, restaurants, etc.
Most of our worms here in NY weren't even elected. They were appointed. Governor, Senator, ....

How I came up with my new plan to save the auto industry.
I watched with interest as Bush made the decision to give Detroit billions rather than let them go bankrupt. I then listened to all the commentary, it seemed that 50% thought it was OK to bail them out and 50% thought we should let them go bankrupt.
I then thought long an hard on how to make 100% of the people happy add came up with my new plan for Change to save the auto industry & get me reelected in 2012.
If 50% liked bailouts & 50% liked bankruptcy then 100% will like doing both.
So my new plan gives billions of more dollars to Detroit and then forces them into bankruptcy!!!
Who could not like that!!

And as a bonus I am having the taxpayers guarantee the warranties!!!
We have to break our habit of thinking there's still a difference between the 2 parties. There is not! If i were a Republican, (which i'm not) i would not be so proud to have liberal RINO's like Juan McLoser and Arlen Spector representing me. If i were a Dumbocrat, (YUK!) my entire party would make me sick.
No, it's no longer about parties. It's now just us against them. Us, being the people who have to work and pay our bills, and everybody else's. Them, being those who simply want to take everything we have.
This is the kind of situation that breeds revolutions. We The People are no longer in control of our govt, (assuming we ever really were) or ourselves. We are now simply being used for what we can produce.
But fear not. There's not enough people left in this country to cause the govt to worry, or change it's ways. For the most part, the American people have been so weakend, manipulated, and divided, that they pose no problem to anyone but themselves. Never again will we see the day when the people are so abused, that they actually take-up arms to get their country back. Those kinds Americans no longer exist. No, we'll just sit here and allow ourselves to become another European socialist state, something that's already under way. The real joke is on those poor fools who still believe this is a free country, and who still think it's a govt. of the people, by the people, and for the people.
