Coincidence, Or End Run?

We all know how desperate the Obomber administration is (especially the new AG) to find a way around the 2nd Amendment. There's nothing they would love more than totally disarming the people of this country. The law abiding people, that is. We also know that the Left and far-Left have been trying this for decades, but so far, (thank God, and some of the SCOTUS) they haven't managed it yet. So have they changed their tactics? Do they believe they've found a way around the 2nd Amendment? After all, having a gun without ammo is like having no gun at all! One way or another, they will not stop trying...

This is why I just took the CCW class and why I'm buying guns next payday.

A P380 and a shotgun.

QUOTABLE QUOTES
"In 40 years of talk radio I've never seen the level of hatred and envy against the wealthy as intense as it is right now. I propose that everyone out there who hates the rich quit their jobs and go get one from a poor person." – Neal Boortz

I don't get it. They aren't trying to ban ammunition, are they? They are just stopping military surplus brass casings from hitting the market.

Quick newsflash...

No one. And I do mean NO ONE, reloads military brass. What is it? .223? Maybe some .308? You can buy both fully loaded for far cheaper than you can reload it yourself, trust me. Military cartriges are super cheap. Anyone trying to reload their own .223 is doing it because they are loading custom hot loads for hunting or match shooting. Same for .308. Military purpose FMJ ball ammo is so damn cheap you can't buy the gunpowder and primers to reload your own before it becomes a losing proposition (you still have to buy heads).

I am not really seeing the problem. Brass for all my rifles is still readily available at any sporting goods store, and will be for the foreseeable future. The military is not the only source for brass...

The way I read it, ammo mfrs wer buying the spent mil brass at bulk discount, and reloading it for sale. W/O that source of material, they were reducing production, and laying people off.
