Pakistan, Yemen, Qatar, and China.
These are all good places to start with your transparency since you don't seem to want to do it here.

Obama has nothing to worry about, just as Clinton was our first black president, Obama is our first Muslim president.

Polls taken by Muslims, for Muslims, show that the majority of Muslims consider Obama to be Muslim.......

so how could having the helicopter plans in the hands of Muslims in Iran cause him any harm???

reading between the lines of the article, it sounds like these are the plans for the new helicopter & someone at Lockheed Martin is in a world of shit

and my spell checker still does not recognize Obama - whats up with that?

And there is a new fleet of not one, but 28 "Marine One" helicopters being built!

Obviously, your spell checker is racist!

And Bill's right, it's 28 choppers that have been ordered. (maybe for all his relatives?) So if they've got the plans for one, they've got them all. Gee, where's Poots when we really need him!

There are 28 choppers being built, but not all will be marine ones, During 9/11 it was found that emergency airlift was lacking for Gubment officials. So in turn they decided that the vietnam era hueys werent enough so they are replacing them with eh-101 style choppers. But in grand style the price has balloned to 11 BILLION, for 28 choppers that is 392857142.85, PER Chopper! that is the price of Both Air Force one's together. Now to be fair this was a boondoggle created by Bush, but in the name of economic stimulus it will be allowed to continue by BOHICA. Oh did I forget to mention the EH-101 is designed and built by the english.

and the French & Italians

EH stands for European Helicopter

The Brit variance is their primary ASW chopper....

but what happened here is that the government put out a request for bibs with a set of specifications. After Lockheed won the competition, the government kept adding capabilities & features to the requirements. Lockheed priced each "change order" and kept the gov informed of the delta scope increased cost.
When you read the liberal newspapers, it sounds like Lockheed is overrunning the
budget.

"...in the name of economic stimulus it will be allowed to continue by BOHICA" while at the same time his defense cuts could ground the F-22 Raptor which could endanger 95,000 jobs.

...thanks blue I was only partly informed

actually IBM was the prime contractor for the Brit version of the EH-101

IBM shipped a ton of people form Owego NY & Manassas VA to Portsmouth in the UK to run the design/development/production of the EH-101

Blue spent 6 months on temporary assignment there.
The bean counters 'forgot" to get me a work permit, so technically, I was an illegal alien in the UK.

Blue, I assume that, like here, they had no problem with you being an illegal?

I'm not too sure you need tech specs to use a Stinger missile against a chopper.

The add-ons are definitely what drove up the costs. Some of those "emergency escape from D.C." choppers have onboard gourmet galleys. You wouldn't want to evacuate without caviar or roast suckling pig, would you. I got something they can suck. I say strip them and add two cases of MRE's under each seat.

Hugo Chavez said yesterday, "Don't mess with me, President Obama," in response to a Bush administration report linking Venezuala to drug smuggling that was vetted and released by the Obama administration.

So the EU is building them? That explains how the plans got out.

There are so many, because when the president travels to a foreign country, they fly "some" (not sure how many) Marine 1's for local transportation in advance. You still have to maintain 3 in DC. You also need several for backup. If there are several foreign trips close in time (typical) they need to leapfrog the copters.

There was a big show on History channel the other day about AirForce 1, and Marine 1 was a substory...
