Gee, I wonder why the people are having trouble making ends meet? We just came off 30 years of a "conservative revolution.". I thought they promised us widespread prosperity? What went wrong? I mean, the last 12 years with a republican Congress, 8 with a republican President. Actually, 20 of the last 28 with conservative Presidents and 8 with a conservative democrat.
All sorts of conservative policies were passed- deregulation, tax cuts. So how come there's people having trouble? Where's that conservative Utopia??
Is it that bad Obama? Did he ruin everything in 40 days? Maybe it's the one-vote majority democratic Congress we've had for 2 years.

I believe it valid to ask the questions I asked. This post was bitterly complaining about Obama adminstration expenditures in this time of struggle for many Americans.
My questions simply asked why people were struggling after a 30 year period of conservative dominance. When I was young backin 1980 I remember hearing Reagan tell us how conservatism would create widespread prosperity. Where is it? Where did it go? Prosperity seems to have only hit a select few.
Now, many of us have lost half of our retirement.
"Put your retirement in the stock market. Why, you'll be investing in America! Here's a new toy. It's called an IRA, a 401k. Put money in there regularly and you won't need that pension! I have changed my mind and seen the light! Driving to work today in 8-10 inches of global warming on NJ Route 18 should have been a nightmare drive with barely plowed roads. Now this first big snow since the Obamination, the drive was easy -- the roads were plowed and salted.

Your last post actually made some good points and I don't even think you insulted anybody (I'll have to read it again to make sure).
You are correct that the economy started to tank at the end of the Bush administration. There are so many reasons for this. Both sides have to take some blame. If you don't see that you are a simpleton. A fan (your team no matter what).
The issue is that Obama is making things worse with his policies.
The other point made on this thread is that conservatives can basically take care of themselves. If there is no food at at the store, I'll still eat. I'm not a compassionate conservative. I'll take your food away from you and your family to feed mine. You better start looking toward the future and pray to whoever you pray to that law and order doesn't break down in this county.
If they spent that on us, we could spur the economy with a Big Kids Happy Meal.

The good part is a fistful of pain killers and muscle relaxers to get stoned enough to lay down for 1 1/2 hours to do it.
The bad part is that after laying there for that long, when the drugs wear off, I'm going to be one sore SOB.

Friday I get to do it all AGAIN, but with a dye infusion. Not allergic, I've had it before, but it is mildly dangerous.
