Our Future?

As many of us realize, the insidious virus known as political correctness continues to erode our freedoms, our history, our traditions, and our very way of life. It has even changed our language. We are no longer free to say what we think, for fear of offending someone, or something. Words and phrases we've used all our lives have now been deemed unacceptable by the elitists of the far-left, since they seem to always know, more than we do, what's best for us.

It should be quite clear to just about everyone by now that yo new president, and those behind him, the one's that actually pull his strings, are dedicated to turning our country into a European socialist system. As is usually the case with leftists, they see socialism, Marxism, and Communism, as "the answer" to all our problems. The fact that those systems have never worked, anywhere, means nothing to those who desire it. And, since the EU is the model they mean to copy, this article may give us a glimpse as to where we're heading. Yes, i'm aware that we're already drowning in PC, but this article shows us just how far it can go, and how truly dangerous it is...

On a similar note, a chaplain was told she can't say "God".

I had to Yahoo (I don't Google any more) MEP. It stands for Member of the European Parliament (in case you didn't know). I agree, this is "political correctness gone mad."

Stores will now display clothes on peoplekins.

People will have odd quirks instead of mannerisms.

People must be polite at the dinner table, instead of using table manners.

And country songs will have to abandon mentioning the mandolin player on the cover jacket.

Program Coordinators will ensure all tasks and resources are properly managed - er - handled.

Budahs will have to call their uhms something else.

On the plus side, the dictionary will loose about 7 pages.

They can't find gender neutral substitute for waiter & waitress? Around here they've been calling them "your server" for quite a while. Maybe the midwife could be called "your deliverer". Oh yeah, yo Prez already took that title.
Nevermind....

... and for the seamy side of the street, Pimp, Ho, Madam, Gigolo

Playboy will have pinup people, and will have to be a magazine for every one, not just men.

A couple other magazines may have issues: Femme, Playgirl, Playboy. But penthouse and hustler are ok.

Boy - this is a far reaching ruling

When do the Thought Police get involved?

Steve, where have you been? They're already here and hard at work. Oh, maybe you know them by their other name. The MSM.

And how do the people respond to this? ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I just don't understand how a group of (one would assume) otherwise mature and intelligent men have somehow become so convinced that simple, every day words can be SO HARMFUL that they must be banned.

We aren't talking about banning the n-word (which I would be against, anyway, but could at least understand WHY they are doing it) or some other massively offensive racial slur. We are talking about banning the word Mrs, Ms and stewardess.

Newsflash, asswipes: THERE ARE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE GENDERS. Identifying those differences should not be offensive or harmful to anyone with a grasp on reality, it should be mundane truth.

Be proud of those differences. Women should be proud to be women, men should be proud to be men. There should be no shame in being either, which is what is being displayed by trying to hush-up the differences.

Seriously, think about it. Why cover it up if you aren't ashamed in the first place?

Goob, get with it. This is The New Order, where the Left's goal is gender neutral. As for the words, it's really not about the words, it's about control, and the Left's insatiable desire for it. It's about having the power and ability to control not only what people say, but how they say it! Political correctness is the greatest threat to free speech we've ever seen, and the majority of people don't even realize it.

Every time you give in to using "PC-speak", you are making it stronger. Todays young people already think it's perfectly normal, which means the Left's plan has worked. Control their words and you control their thoughts.

A perfect example:

"In my speech, although I did not use the word "terrorism," I referred to "man-caused" disasters. That is perhaps only a nuance, but it demonstrates that we want to move away from the politics of fear toward a policy of being prepared for all risks that can occur." – Janet Nopolitano, DHS MORON
