The Enviro-Nazis are Airborne!

Council uses spy plane with thermal imaging camera to snoop on homes wasting energy

I can't think of a better way to spend £30,000. But then again I'm not trying very hard.

I'm surprised Fat Al Gore isn't doing that here. He likes to fly around in private jets & stuff - sounds like the perfect job for him - wasting energy catching other people wasting energy.

PS - I'd say Eat Me - but Fat Al might try it. eww....

Notice that the real emphasis in on limiting carbon dioxide emissions rather that save people a few bucks (or Euros) in energy costs.

"More than half the UK's carbon dioxide emissions come from the domestic sector, which includes property and transport."

and

"Insulation is estimated to reduce each home's carbon emissions by around two tonnes annually."

Fat Al is probably disappointed that he didn't think of this type of privacy invasion first!

If you take the time to sift through the comments at the end of the article, there are some comments in favor of the project. Hopefully they're sarcasm?

I doubt it Heidi. Many of those comments are from Brits, and we know they can't think straight. That country is being consumed by PC, to the point where the peoples freedoms are disappearing. But they don't seem to mind. Look at how easily they've accepted Sharia Law in many parts of Britain.

But there's another side to this carbon-credit scam, and that's $$$. Lots, and lots of money! The "select few" who are pushing this scam stand to become Gazillionaires! How do you think fat Al can afford his 20 million sq. ft. home, and his private jet? And yo president, Mr. Obummer is in it up to his dumbo ears!

How many pounds of carbon were put into the atmosphere by an airplane flying around looking for heat leaks?

Steve, that was good carbon.
What is leaking from your house is bad carbon.
Don't make me send you know who to your house.
