I'd empty a bottle of whiskey with Annie and Jimbo.

YEEEEEEEHAAAAAAAAAW!

Wait... I thought we already did that in certain counties...

Deaf Smith County - how do ya think 'Ol Smith got deaf?

That's right - drinking whiskey without proper ear protection.

That's a good lesson all y'all should remember.

(Young 'uns who aren't of shootin' age use a nigger shooter... er... SLING SHOT... to shoot their empty whiskey bottles.)

Ooooo - I hope the ecretsa ervicesa doesn't come after me for sayin' iggerna ootersha.

That's okay. I'll put on lipstick - they'll think I'm Sarah.

OT first,
I like the new color scheme on the front page.

On Texas,
I'm thinking of moving there. I've had it with idiot liberal, Long Island / Boston jerks, who want to complain about NY / MA taxes, then vote for the same taxes here!! The stupid MFers!!

I don't drink much anymore, but I can donate bullets to kill them pesky empties.

C-Bug,
thanks for the info. Part of our reasoning is the availability of land, mixed with the job market for the next 36 months. Forbes (?) had an article about job growth / job losses over that period, Texas was expecting growth. Plus, it was the only place on the list expecting growth we'd consider living from a political stand point.

There's some Yankees in Texas, more will go there, but not as many as here. We're fast becoming the Southern Attachment of New England. I'm sick of it, as is Mrs Schteveo.

C-Bugaloo,
Texas wins again, San Antonio anyway.

Steve -
If you're considering San Antonio you should brush up on your Spanish. 1.2 million people - about 900,000 are Mexican. Now most are "American-first" (they know who butters their bread), and typically they don't 'beat up gringos'; but nevertheless Spanish seems to be the predominate language.

I think it's been that way in San Antonio since way before the Alamo.

Oh - and the best Mexican food IN THE WORLD is in San Antonio. Those folks know the old family recipes and have good quality American ingredients to make them with.

Mmmm - now I'm hungry! When I'm back in Austin for Thanksgiving - I feel the need to make the hour drive.
