What we already knew:

A conservative non-profit organization has completed a study that shows the liberal tsunami on Election Day 2008 was not because the country wanted to move radically to the left, but because voters wanted to punish Republicans for abandoning conservative principles.

Well, if the people are that stupid, (and i think they are) that they would hand the entire govt. to the far-left simply because they were convinced that they hated GWB, then they deserve everything they're going to get.

There was no "liberal tsunami". Obama only won the popular vote by about six percentage points. That's scarcely a mandate, or a landslide, or a tsunami. Maybe a moderately high tide.

He only won by 6 percentage points AFTER spending more money on any campaign in history, and AFTER having the entire media complex pull for him 24/7, and AFTER running against possibly the biggest lame-duck candidate int he history of the US, and AFTER 8 years of historically unpopular republican presidency. Anyone still think this was a mandate or a tsunami? The fucking guy barely won after having all of that in his corner. Not a mandate. Not a tsunami. Probably inevitable. They could have run Goofy the dog against McCain in this race, and we'd be inagurating Goofy as our first canine president. There was just too much against the repubs for anything else to happen.

Next time, it will be THEIR unpopular presidency we are running against, not ours. By then, we'll have acepted the MSM's bias, and possibly worked to turn that in our favor. By then, we'll have learned to use the fucking internet, for christ's sake, and by then, John McCain will be too old to run, meaning we'll probably have the opportunity to present someone who is qualified and ready to be president, instead of someone throwing the race to the dogs. This will be a short, yet painful learning experience for America. I suspect we won't like it, but it is what we voted for.

Six points or six thousand points. What's the difference? His people have already called it a mandate and that's exactly how they'll act.
