And It's Only Just Begining
Comrade Chris Matthews, a bleeding-heart, ultra-liberal, seems ready to take the senate seat away from Pennsylvania's Republican senator Arlen Spector, who was never much more than a liberal-leaning RINO anyway. Spector, having been a DA in some two-horse PA. town, always felt that the SCOTUS should defer to him when they can't decide an issue, since he's such a "legal expert". Of course, that opinion resides only in his own mind!
This move would leave MSNBC with the infamous Keith Olberman, (an outright communist) and Joe Scarboro, a liberal RINO, who has spent the last several months swooning over the prospect of having Yomama Bahama in the WH. This move would also guarantee MSNBC a direct link to every secret this country has, assuming we have any left. Just when you think things can't possibly get worse, they do!

C-Bug
There's no easy way to break some news.
C-Bug has suffered a stroke. She is in an ICU in Lubbock.
I've been on the phone with Mr. C-Bug, and he indicates she is resting comfortably, and is cognizant, but as of this evening she’s not out of the woods. She intermittently loses use of one side. The next 12 to 24 hours are critical. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
I’ll update you as I learn more.
Jimbo
Can You Say Surrounded?
Russia knows, (perhaps better than DC knows) that Joe Kennedy's pal/boss Hugo Chavez is one of the worlds greatest America haters. If they are able to arm him with nukes, (and who would stop them) all they would have to do is sit back, watch and wait. This is a classic Vlad (the impaler) Putin move. Make no mistake, the old KGB dog is still the boss of Russia!
So, looking at the ever-growing Marxist power, influence, and threat facing our southern border, what do you think Yomama's response will be? (no, unlike CNN this morning, i'm not calling him "the president") Will he go and talk to Hugo and try to charm him with his rhetoric? Will that work, or does it depend on who's writing the words for him? Might he send Hitlary there wearing a short skirt? If that happens, dig yourself a DEEP bunker out in the yard!

Happy Thanksgiving
I wish all a very happy Thanksgiving. God bless you.
Happy Thanksgiving
This Turkey is for Poots...
To you my friends who are also my family, Happy Thanksgiving.
Wouldn’t you know it – Thanksgiving as we know it has Republican roots.
In 1863 President Abraham Lincoln appointed a national day of thanksgiving. That was the very first year we officially celebrated Thanksgiving as a nation. Ironic, isn’t it? One hundred forty five years later, we are as divided now as we were then. But just as folks could find things to be thankful for 145 years ago during America’s darkest days; we can also find things to be thankful for during our current dark days, such as:
* Advanced technology in personal/family protection and game management
* Growing techniques that allow bumper crops in your backyard gardens
* Monosodium glutamate
Be thankful for what you have, be prepared to protect it, share what you can, beware of delusional liars, remember history, and pass on truth to all who will listen.
Your friend and neighbor, Jimbo.
Okay, HLF, you requested, and I've delivered...
Link #1 – Slate Article. Great opinion piece by a guy that is totally biased as hell. Useless for anything other than enlightening us to his opinion, because little of it has any basis in fact, and those points that do have factual basis are irrelevant to somehow blaming the Republican party for this meltdown. Again, subprime mortgages were made possible by democratic fiat, not republican. That one company failed without offering subprime mortagages is irrelevant. Companies fail all of the time for many different reasons. They probably would have failed anyway, crisis or not.
As an aside, his claims that the CRA did not force banks to provide no money down, underwriting out the window, risky loans are true. However, the CRA did require that the banks loan to the poor and minorities, and THE ONLY WAY TO GET THAT DONE IS TO TAKE THE STEPS ABOVE! That is like saying that seatbelt laws don’t require you to install seat belts in your old antique car, but if you are caught driving without a seatbelt, you’ll be fined. Yes, the law didn’t say that they had to provide risky loans, it just said that they had to provide loans to poor and minorities. To do so required that they had to provide risky loans!
Link #2 – Identical to link 1. Even if I concede that the CRA wasn’t the momentum needed to get the ball rolling on this catastrophe, there is still nothing in here to indicate that the republicans had anything to do with instigating the crisis. This was all happening during a democratic majority congress, and a democratic administration, too, so if you want to argue that inaction equals responsibility, then we all share the blame. This thing was real back when dems held congress and the POTUS, too, and they did nothing. Inaction means you can be blamed for one thing, and one thing only. Your inaction. You can’t be blamed for creating the problem, when the momentum for the problem was started by someone else, namely, the democrats. And, as I’ve pointed out several times, it was REPUBLICANS that tried to do something about this 2 years ago, but they were blocked by, you guessed it, the DEMOCRATS. So who is really to blame here?
Link #3 –
• Did the 1977 legislation, or any other legislation since, require banks to not verify income or payment history of mortgage applicants? Totally irrelevant. In order to loan to the people in question, this had to become a standard. The CRA demanded that you loan to these people, it did not say how. That it left that part out does not mean that it did not require it. How else can you loan to a poor person with insufficient income and no payment history? Again, it is like saying that you have to mow the lawn, but saying that does not imply that you are allowed to get out the lawn mower. It is a stupid argument.
• 50% of subprime loans were made by mortgage service companies not subject comprehensive federal supervision; another 30% were made by banks or thrifts which are not subject to routine supervision or examinations. How was this caused by either CRA or GSEs ?
By the same logic, I must ask “how was any of this caused by the republicans?” The subprime industry was created by the CRA. They did not exist before the CRA. That some businesses were selling these products of the CRA, even though they were not under it’s bylaws, is irrelevant. The fact is, these are DEMOCRAT creations. They were being sold during the democratic majority and administration during the 90’s, so any argument that inaction equals guilt should be spread evenly between both parties. Again, you’ve failed to show that the republicans are at fault here.
• What about "No Money Down" Mortgages (0% down payments) ? Were they required by the CRA? Fannie? Freddie?
Again, totally irrelevant. That they were not required by the act does not mean that they were not necessary to live up to the demands of the act. Try mowing the lawn without a lawn mower, and you’ll get my point.
• Explain the shift in Loan to value from 80% to 120%: What was it in the Act that changed this traditional lending requirement? See the above point. Again, you cannot mow the lawn without a lawn mower, and you cannot make required loans to individuals that cannot come up with 80% loan to value without changing the requirement. • Did any Federal legislation require real estate agents and mortgage writers to use the same corrupt appraisers again and again? How did they manage to always come in at exactly the purchase price, no matter what? And this was the republicans fault, how?
• Did the CRA require banks to develop automated underwriting (AU) systems that emphasized speed rather than accuracy in order to process the greatest number of mortgage apps as quickly as possible? It did not, but it did require a quota of CRA mortgages. Could this possibly have required an automated system to keep up with quotas? I simply don’t know, but again, I cannot figure how this was the republican’s fault. This was all happening back during the dem’s day under Clinton, too, and they did nothing but encourage it, per Snorpht’s article.
• How exactly did legislation force Moody's, S&Ps and Fitch to rate junk paper as Triple AAA? How, exactly, did the republicans force… … to rate junk paper as Triple AAA?
• What about piggy back loans? Were banks required by Congress to lend the first mortgage and do a HELOC for the down payment -- at the same time? Again, totally irrelevant. That this was not required by the act does not mean that this was not necessary to live up to the demands of the act. How else can a person with no assets, no credit, and no payment history come up with a down payment? You have to meet the requirements of the act, how can you do it without cutting corners to get it done? Try mowing the lawn without a lawn mower, and you’ll get my point.
• Internal bank memos showed employees how to cheat the system to get poor mortgages prospects approved that shouldn't have been: Titled How to Get an "Iffy" loan approved at JPM Chase. (Was circulating that memo also a FNM/FRE/CRA requirement?)
No, it wasn’t, but it was probably necessary to live up to the requirements of the act. How many more times am I going to have to say this? That it wasn’t specifically required does not mean that, in order to meet the demands of the act, it was not NECESSARY. The CRA didn’t demand any of this, but to get what it DID demand, all of this was necessary!
• The four biggest problem areas for housing (by price decreases) are: Phoenix, Arizona; Las Vegas, Nevada; Miami, Florida, and San Diego, California. Explain exactly how these affluent, non-minority regions were impacted by the Community Reinvesment Act ?
Give me a break. Seriously? Those cities probably have the highest rates of minority poverty of any city in the US! Ever been to any of these cities and seen the migrant workers begging for work ont eh side of the road? I have.
• Did the GSEs require banks to not check credit scores? Assets? Income?
No, it did not, but to meet the demands of the act, this became necessary. I’m getting tired of repeating myself. Need I go on?
• What was it about the CRA or GSEs that mandated fund managers load up on an investment product that was hard to value, thinly traded, and poorly understood
Uh, lets see, how about the requirement to loan lots of money to people that they would never, ever have loaned money to before (hard to value), that did not have a market because no one ahd ever done it before because it was a bad, bad, bad idea(thinly traded), and since it was a bad idea, and no one had ever done it before, the loans were poorly understood. That pretty much sums up the requirements of the CRA right there, doesn’t it? So, to answer te question, EVERYTHING about the CRA required all of those things. It was the whole point of the CRA to begin with!
• What was it in the Act that forced banks to make "interest only" loans? Were "Neg Am loans" also part of the legislative requirements also?
How else can a poor person, who they are now required to give a mortgage to, afford the mortgage? Again, that it did not specifically require it does not mean that it wasn’tnecessary to get the job done.
• Consider this February 2003 speech by Countrywide CEO Angelo Mozlilo at the American Bankers National Real Estate Conference. He advocated zero down payment mortgages -- was that a CRA requirement too, or just a grab for more market share, and bad banking?
I think I’ve broached this one enough. That the CRA did not require it does not mean that it wasn’t necessary
I would very much like to see what you would suggest the banks had done to live up to the CRA’s requirements. Give fixed-rate, 30 year mortgages with 10% down payment, as was typical, established practice pre-CRA? None of the intended targets could afford that! The bank would have been in violation of the CRA. They HAD to do these things to meet CRA requirements. That the CRA did not have verbage specifically requiring these things is totally irrelevant. They were necessary to get the job done, like a lawn mower is necessary to mow the lawn. When my Dad told me to mow the lawn as a kid, it was pretty much implied that it was necessary to use the lawn mower. He didn’t have to specifically tell me to use the lawn mower to mow the lawn. Same goes here.
Link #4 – Irrelevant to the discussion, and if Fannie and Freddie were really so immune to the CRA-created crisis, why did the federal government have to seize them a few weeks back? This doesn’t make any sense, is not applicable to reality. Also, that there were many businesses trying to cash in on this FAKE market created by a democrat-backed act is not the republican’s fault, it is the fault of the dems who created the FAKE subprime market to begin with. How can you argue otherwise?
Link #5 – So what? They gave Obama a bunch of money, also, and all of this happened under the “leadership” of Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. That it was a republican think tank they paid means only that they couldn’t find a democratic think tank to tell them what they wanted to hear. They were interested in free-market perspective, not what they would get from a democratic institution, I fear.
Also, did you notice that your article pretty much sums up what I’ve been saying all along in the following:
“In the midst of DCI's yearlong effort, Hagel and 25 other Republican senators pleaded unsuccessfully with Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, R-Tenn., to allow a vote.
"If effective regulatory reform legislation ... is not enacted this year, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system and the economy as a whole," the senators wrote in a letter that proved prescient.
In the end, there was not enough Republican support for Hagel's bill to warrant bringing it up for a vote because Democrats also opposed it and the votes of some would be needed for passage. The measure died at the end of the 109th Congress.”
Emphasis added.
Okay, smarty-pants, so tell me again how this was caused by the republicans?
A question for our liberal guest;
By totally ignoring the fact that the last thirty years have been, by FAR, the most prosperous years in the history of our nation, and by pointing out the fact that we are only just now beginning to drop into recession, he claims that the republicans have scuttled this country. He seems to be very interested in reduction ad absurdum arguments that cast conservatives in a ridiculous light. As I recall, he compared conservatives to two year olds screaming “MINE!”
I have asked this same question twice now, and have been totally ignored by our friend, and so I will ask it in this format, where there is no excuse to “miss” it, and see if he is brave enough to respond.
Before I ask the question, I will lay out a few ground rules to the answer:
1.) No fallacious arguments. To say that our problems now are caused simply because the republicans held a majority for the last 30 years is a post hoc fallacy. Simply because something happened before something else, does not make it the cause. By your argument, I get to claim the last 30 years of exploding prosperity in our country for the Republicans, which, in my opinion, pretty much makes up for the next couple years (at most) when times are going to be hard.
2.) Cite specific examples of Republican policies that have created this problem.
3.) Discuss why you do not believe that 100% of the blame for our current housing and banking industry collapse should not be laid at the feet of Democrats like Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Bill Clinton, for passing the laws and rules that allowed and encouraged completely irresponsible lending practices.
4.) Discuss why any of this collapse is the Republican’s fault.
5.) Discuss why, when the Republicans saw this problem, and tried to do something about it 2 years ago, the Democrats blocked the action.
6.) Explain how, with the preponderance of the evidence pointing the finger at Democratic “give away” policies for our current crisis, you feel as thought it is Republican conservatism that has caused our problem.
These should be pretty simple things to answer given your intellectual superiority over everyone else on this site (which is pretty impressive, given the fact that we have several engineers, a couple of doctors, and a good portion of the readership with IQs over 135, so good for you!).
It's worse than I thought
I was recently led to believe that in January of 2009, Barack Obama would become the most powerful man in the world. Well evidently, I was wrong.
The President-elect tells ABC News' Barbara Walters in an interview airing Wednesday night that he's trying to talk the Secret Service and others into letting him keep his wireless device.
"I'm negotiating to figure out how can I get information from outside of the 10 or 12 people who surround my office in the White House.
Hey, if I was the most powerful man in the world, I certainly would not be negotiating with people WHO WORKED FOR ME!!! I'd keep my damned personal Blackberry, my TiVo, my favorite Scooby Doo Underoos and anything else I damned well wanted.
If he can't make his own staff mind his will, what will the evil doers of the world extort from him?

Is This The Reality?
RUSSIAN ANALYST PREDICTS DECLINE AND BREAKUP OF USA
Tue Nov 25 2008 09:04:22 ET
A leading Russian political analyst has said the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the country is heading for collapse, and will divide into separate parts. Professor Igor Panarin said in an interview with the respected daily IZVESTIA published on Monday: "The dollar is not secured by anything. The country's foreign debt has grown like an avalanche, even though in the early 1980s there was no debt. By 1998, when I first made my prediction, it had exceeded $2 trillion. Now it is more than 11 trillion. This is a pyramid that can only collapse."
The paper said Panarin's dire predictions for the U.S. economy, initially made at an international conference in Australia 10 years ago at a time when the economy appeared strong, have been given more credence by this year's events. When asked when the U.S. economy would collapse, Panarin said: "It is already collapsing. Due to the financial crisis, three of the largest and oldest five banks on Wall Street have already ceased to exist, and two are barely surviving. Their losses are the biggest in history. Now what we will see is a change in the regulatory system on a global financial scale: America will no longer be the world's financial regulator." When asked who would replace the U.S. in regulating world markets, he said: "Two countries could assume this role: China, with its vast reserves, and Russia, which could play the role of a regulator in Eurasia."
Asked why he expected the U.S. to break up into separate parts, he said: "A whole range of reasons. Firstly, the financial problems in the U.S. will get worse. Millions of citizens there have lost their savings. Prices and unemployment are on the rise. General Motors and Ford are on the verge of collapse, and this means that whole cities will be left without work. Governors are already insistently demanding money from the federal center. Dissatisfaction is growing, and at the moment it is only being held back by the elections and the hope that Obama can work miracles. But by spring, it will be clear that he can not."
He also cited the "vulnerable political setup", "lack of unified national laws", and "divisions among the elite, which have become clear in these crisis conditions." He predicted that the U.S. will break up into six parts - the Pacific coast, with its growing Chinese population; the South, with its Hispanics; Texas, where independence movements are on the rise; the Atlantic coast, with its distinct and separate mentality; five of the poorer central states with their large Native American populations; and the northern states, where the influence from Canada is strong. He even suggested that "we could claim Alaska - it was only granted on lease, after all." Panarin, 60, is a professor at the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and has authored several books on information warfare...
Here We Go Again
It gives me great pleasure to submit my inaugural (ha!) post on a topic which is sure to come up more in the next month: the de-Christmasing of Christmas. Yes, it never ends. This time some jackass college pres in Florida issued a "memo" basically removing all Christmasness from public campus spaces; for example, changing a traditional Giving Tree for needy preschoolers into a "giving garden" and other inanities, all in the name of "diversity". The real sad thing is that no one but him seems to care. Interviewed students saw no problem with having Christmas trees and such about, and there seems to have been no outcry demanding the "diversification" of campus? So why do it? Because he can, sez I.
And since I haven't yet figured out how to link stuff here..well, here's the link. Opinyunz?

Avast Ye Landlubbers
Has it dawned on anyone to simply vaporize these cretins while they're still in their row boat? (sorry, very un-PC of me) I mean, it's almost 2009. They can litterly tell how many teeth you have in your mouth from 10 miles up! And what about their home base? Has anyone thought of unleashing a few Tomahawks to turn the place into a park, devoid of human life? Unless i missed it, i don't recall reading anything about even one of these cretins being wasted. Any wonder why they won't stop? Perhaps the worlds "great naval powers" are waiting for the pirates to amass enough money so they can then go to Russia and buy themselves a nuclear sub. Then we can all sit down and "negotiate" with them.
I did read a few days ago that the pirates were sent a "message" by the local radical Islamic psycho's, telling the pirates that if any Moose-lamb ships are taken, the towelheads will attack. Now that will make the pirates stop and think. Gee, let's see. if the Moose-lambs attack, they'll kill every living thing within 10 miles. If the Americans, British, or French catch us, we'll be "arrested", taken to a friendly country, fed, cleaned-up, educated, supported, and given a lawyer. It shouldn't be hard to figure who's ships will get attacked.

Look out, liberals, "The Nuge" is back -- locked, cocked, and ready to "rock" your world!
You don't have to be fan of rock music to love rocker/hunter Ted Nugent. You just have to share the unabashed patriotism and "rock"-solid conservative values that come through in his music and bestselling books.
Now comes the Motor-City Madman's wildest, most politically incorrect book yet. In Ted, White, and Blue: The Nugent Manifesto, "The Nuge" lays out his plan for defending red-blooded, full-throated Americanism against pantywaist politicians, nanny-state judges, and tofu-eating Obamamaniacs -- calling on readers to "Roll up your damn sleeves, sharpen your crowbars, and think hardcore."
Ted, White, and Blue rocketed to #8 on The New York Times bestseller list in its first week of release.
"You're gonna love this!" -- Gov. Mike Huckabee
In your copy of Ted, White, and Blue you'll discover:
- Why if Ted were a Mexican, he'd start a revolution (and how, since he's not, we can control our own borders)
- How to put Uncle Sam on a diet (a "waste-watchers program" for Big Government)
- The Ted Plan for energy independence by 2018 -- how to keep America rockin' into the future
- How to change the world for the better through the power of God, guns, and rock 'n' roll
Possibly the worst reporting I've seen...

[I ]Jones told a coroner's court in Cardiff, Wales, on Monday that she only realized what had happened when she saw a foot in the toilet bowl.
Okay, so the baby was small enough that she gave birth to it without knowing, and also for it to go down a toilet drain. Pretty dang small. How far along was she? Could the baby have survived on it’s own outside the womb? Was this a birth and neglect type situation, or was this a miscarriage? Without knowing how far along she was, none of this is ascertainable.
She said she tried unsuccessfully to revive the baby and then put the body in the trunk of her car.
Okay, so she puts the baby in the truck of her car, and then what?
The corpse was found in Jones' vehicle after she was arrested
What were the circumstances of her arrest? Was she driving to the hospital to get medical attention for her and her baby and she ran a red light? Did she leave the baby in the car for three weeks and her neighbors called in to complain about the smell, and subsequently, the police found the baby? Was she bragging to people at work about how she had a dead baby in her car trunk and someone turned her in? Was she arrested at the hospital after she tried to get help?
The circumstances of her arrest are key to the story. The amount of time the baby was left in the trunk is also key. Those facts along with how far along she was, determine whether this was a woman who had miscarried a fetus, a woman who had given birth to a viable baby too early and not known it resulting in his accidental death, or a woman who had given birth to a healthy, yet premature baby, and flushed him down the toilet to “get rid” of him, and was trying to hide her actions.
The article, to me, infers the last option, and leaves out any information necessary to refute that inference. This is a textbook case of horrible media reportage. We should all be on the lookout for this sort of crap, and I think it would be fun to spend more time posting these sorts of things here at Annie’s. Keep ‘em honest, boys and girls!

Personally, I think it's funny, but I'm a little twisted.
So, I guess Governor Palin pardoned a turkey for the annual Thanksgiving Turkey Pardoning. But she didn't pardon ALL the turkeys.
.
.
WASILLA, Alaska — Gov. Sarah Palin has granted the traditional Thanksgiving pardon to one lucky turkey, but the video that shocked some viewers captured what was happening in the background.
As she answered questions Thursday at Triple D Farm & Hatchery outside Wasilla, cameras from the Anchorage Daily News and other news outlets showed the bloody work of an employee slaughtering birds behind her.
.
.
And if you really must see it, I did, here's a link.

Wishful Thinking?
By Bob Unruh© 2008 WorldNetDaily
A case that challenges President-elect Barack Obama's name on the 2008 election ballot citing questions over his citizenship has been scheduled for a "conference" at the U.S. Supreme Court.
Conferences are private meetings of the justices at which they review cases and decide which ones to accept for formal review. This case is set for a conference Dec. 5, just 10 days before the Electoral College is scheduled to meet to make formal the election of Obama as the nation's next president.
The Supreme Court's website listed the date for the case brought by Leo C. Donofrio against Nina Wells, the secretary of state in New Jersey, over not only Obama's name on the 2008 election ballot but those of two others, Sen. John McCain and Roger Calero. The case, unsuccessful at the state level, had been submitted to Justice David Souter, who rejected it. The case then was resubmitted to Justice Clarence Thomas. The next line on the court's docket says: "DISTRIBUTED for Conference of December 5, 2008."
If four of the nine justices vote to hear the case in full, oral argument may be scheduled.
The action questions whether any of the three candidates is qualified under the U.S. Constitution's requirement that a president be a "natural-born citizen."
According to America's Right blogger Jeff Schreiber, there also was a development in a second case presented to the Supreme Court on the same issue.
His report said the Federal Election Commission now has waived its right to respond to a complaint brought by attorney Philip Berg.
"There are a number of reasons why the respondents here would choose not to respond. First, because the court only grants between 70 and 120 of the 8,000 or so petitions it receives every year, perhaps they just liked their odds of Berg's petition getting denied. Second, because they have made arguments as to Berg's lack of standing several times at the district court level and beyond, perhaps they felt as though any arguments had already been made and were available on the record. Or, perhaps the waiver shows that the FEC and other respondents do not take seriously the allegations put forth by Berg, and did not wish to legitimize the claims with a response," the blogger speculated.
"Another thing which is not completely clear is whether the FEC is filing for itself or on behalf of all respondents," he added."If it were just the FEC filing the waiver, I must say that I'm surprised," Berg told America's Right. "I'm surprised because I think they should take the position that the Supreme Court should grant standing to us. I think they have a responsibility not only to Phil Berg, but to all citizens of this country, to put forth a sense of balance which otherwise doesn't seem to exist."However, if this was filed by the FEC on behalf of the DNC and Barack Obama too, it reeks of collusion," he said, noting that the attorney from the Solicitor General's office should be representing federal respondents and not the DNC or Obama.
But he noted that "questions surrounding this aspect of Obama's candidacy are seemingly beginning to see the light of day."
Just last week, WND reported on worries over a "constitutional crisis" that could be looming over the issue of Obama's citizenship. Former presidential candidate Alan Keyes and others filed a court petition in California asking the secretary of state to refuse to allow the state's 55 Electoral College votes to be cast in the 2008 presidential election until Obama verifies his eligibility to hold the office. Alan Keyes: The disputes all cite "natural-born citizen" requirement set by the U.S. Constitution.WND senior reporter Jerome Corsi even traveled to Kenya and Hawaii prior to the election to investigate issues surrounding Obama's birth. But his research and discoveries only raised more questions. The biggest question is why Obama, if a Hawaii birth certificate exists as his campaign has stated, simply hasn't ordered it made available to settle the rumors. The governor's office in Hawaii said there is a valid certificate but rejected requests for access and left ambiguous its origin: Does the certificate on file with the Department of Health indicate a Hawaii birth or was it generated after the Obama family registered a Kenyan birth in Hawaii?Obama's half-sister, Maya Soetoro, has named two different Hawaii hospitals where Obama could have been born. There have been other allegations that Obama actually was born in Kenya during a time when his father was a British subject. The California action was filed by Gary Kreep of the United States Justice Foundation on behalf of Keyes, the presidential candidate of the American Independent Party, along with Wiley S. Drake and Markham Robinson, both California electors."Should Senator Obama be discovered, after he takes office, to be ineligible for the Office of President of the United States of America and, thereby, his election declared void, Petitioners, as well as other Americans, will suffer irreparable harm in that (a) usurper will be sitting as the President of the United States, and none of the treaties, laws, or executive orders signed by him will be valid or legal," the action challenges. An Obama spokesman interviewed by WND described such lawsuits as "garbage."
The popular vote Nov. 4 favored Obama over Sen. John McCain by several percentage points. But because of the distribution of the votes, Obama is projected to take the Electoral College vote, when it is held in December, by a 2-to-1 margin. The California case states, "There is a reasonable and common expectation by the voters that to qualify for the ballot, the individuals running for office must meet minimum qualifications as outlined in the federal and state Constitutions and statutes, and that compliance with those minimum qualifications has been confirmed by the officials overseeing the election process," the complaint said, when in fact the only documentation currently required is a signed statement from the candidate attesting to those qualifications."Since [the secretary of state] has, as its core, the mission of certifying and establishing the validity of the election process, this writ seeks a Court Order barring SOS from certifying the California Electors until documentary proof that Senator Obama is a 'natural born' citizen of the United States of America is received by her," the document said."This proof could include items such as his original birth certificate, showing the name of the hospital and the name and the signature of the doctor, all of his passports with immigration stamps, and verification from the governments where the candidate has resided, verifying that he did not, and does not, hold citizenship of these countries, and any other documents that certify an individual’s citizenship and/or qualification for office.
The "certificate of live birth" posted by the Obama campaign cannot be viewed as authoritative, the case alleges."Hawaii Revised Statute 338-178 allows registration of birth in Hawaii for a child that was born outside of Hawaii to parents who, for a year preceding the child’s birth, claimed Hawaii as their place of residence," the document said. "The only way to know where Senator Obama was actually born is to view Senator Obama's original birth certificate from 1961 that shows the name of the hospital and the name and signature of the doctor that delivered him."The case also raises the circumstances of Obama's time during his youth in Indonesia, where he was listed as having Indonesian citizenship. Indonesia does not allow dual citizenship, raising the possibility of Obama's mother having given up his U.S. citizenship.Any subsequent U.S. citizenship then, the case claims, would be "naturalized," not "natural-born."WND has reported other challenges that have been raised in Ohio, Connecticut, Washington, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Hawaii.
F. Y. I.
Hi Everyone,
Not to take the alarmist, scare tactic route, we feel compelled to email the hundreds of thousands of casual gun people who come here every month (in addition to the hundreds of thousands of gun nuts) that the election of Barack Obama is almost definitely going to bring changes to the gun laws in the form of new taxes and hoops for gun dealers to jump through, as well as permanent bans on individuals selling firearms themselves. The days of being able to bring grandpa's old guns to a gun show and sell them off in an afternoon are probably going to be gone within a short amount of time after President Elect Obama gets into office.
Most likely the entire American tradition of the gunshow will disappear. There is a lot of media attention today about people in a frenzy to BUY GUNS, because they are afraid that they won't be able to get them. But for those of us with closets full of guns we don't and most likely will never shoot, guns that we've procrastinated selling, there is a genuine danger to our ability to be to SELL THOSE GUNS OURSELVES in the future. So if you don't want to end up losing 30% of their value because you have to transfer the gun out through a gun dealer, get moving and sell them now. The DEMAND FOR GUNS IS HUGE. We have record traffic on GunsAmerica, and the gunshows are a zoo.
Take the time and sell your guns now, at a gunshow, on GunsAmerica, or any other legal venue.
And remember, if you ship a gun to someone, it has to be sent to a transfer FFL dealer in their state. There is no legal way to ship a gun to an individual, unless they personally are a Curio & Relic FFL holder, which only applies to old and collectible guns that are specifically on the list at the ATF website. Some states have restrictions on individuals shipping out guns themselves as well. Ask a dealer in your state. We do not give legal advice. It is your responsability to ship guns out legally. Also consider buying ammunition for the guns you have. There will almost definitely be a new tax coming on ammo.
That's all for now. We felt compelled to send out a warning, letting those detached from the problem know what is almost definately coming...

Who didn't see this coming?
I guess there are actually people surprised that Pres.-elect BOHICA is picking over the Clinton Cabinet and supporters to staff his administration. I'm glad he's showing his hand early, it saved me the suspense.
The only thing that's going to change, is our hard earned dollars, into the pocket of some elected worm, or their constituents.
Department Store Truckers In the News
This one will make you roll your eyes. I know I saw it elsewhere earlier this morning, but now that I go to look for it, I can't find it. Hmmm... Anyway, here is the only version I can find now: Wal-Mart trucker smuggles illegals across border.
This one will either make you roll your eyes or giggle. Maybe both. If other things have been added by the time you click, scroll down to Shopping Cart Fail. http://failblog.org/
We trust our truckers to keep our country running smoothly. It is a thankless, monotonous job. I am directly related to two truckers, both of whom do a fine job and know exactly what they are doing. But do you ever stop to think that the 18-wheeler flying past you at 15 miles over the speed limit could be driven by one of these morons? It's a frightening thought.

On government bailouts, and the elimination of opportunity
However, this opportunity for happiness is eroding away as quickly as our Congress passes bailout legislation to prop up failed enterprise.
The pursuit of happiness in business requires the ability to outperform the other guy; to do better than your competition and therefore, “beat” them out of your share of the pie. For years, this was allowed to happen, and for years, this resulted in the front-runners of any industry being the strongest, fastest, and best managed. It also resulted in the front runners of any industry constantly changing, as the businesses currently in the lead got comfortable in their success, stagnant in their management, and reactive in their processes, paving the way for the competition to leap ahead in innovation and ideas.
The government’s bailout plans have stifled this. Innovation and ideas no longer pay off. Being ahead of the game is no longer the way to success. As you innovate and adapt in order to beat your failing competitor, the government starts to feed him cash to keep him afloat, and you are no longer able to keep up. In their well-intentioned bailouts of these major banks, the government has guaranteed status quo, and the failure of innovative up-and-comers that may do things better, faster, and cheaper..
Now, we look at the auto industry. Years of bad, milquetoast management have allowed the auto unions to grab Detroit by the curleys*, and now they have to pay an unskilled worker who spends his entire day putting crank handles on wing windows an exorbitant amount of money and benefits, causing the prices of these vehicles to skyrocket. Consumers can no longer justify the purchase of an American car for twice the price they will pay for it’s Korean counterpart, and at lower perceived quality. Detroit tries to keep up by selling cars at break even or even by losing money on them temporarily, but they cannot keep up. As long as they are required to pay an unskilled high school graduate the same salary as most engineers make, they won’t be able to compete. In the old days, when a company was no longer able to compete, they went out of business. It was a healthy purge cycle; out with the old, in with the new. However, the “too big to fail” mentality has ensured that the old stays in, and are simply propped up by US tax dollars.
Let the banks fail. Let the auto industry tank. Someone else will come along, buy what is left, re-tool, re-organize, and get things running smoothly again. Chrysler would be a smoothly-running, well oiled machine if they had been allowed to fail back in the 70’s, and let the natural course of things take over. As it is now, they are a ponderous, confused dinosaur that has no clue how to compete in today’s market.
And yes, if these industries were to fail, it would hurt, and many would be out of jobs. However, there will not be a vacuum that they are losing their jobs into. Someone will come along, buy GM, and get them up and running again, and that person will probably get their job back. It is the way things are supposed to work. Gov. intervention is stifling the pursuit of happiness in business. It has turned it into the pursuit of handouts, and that is not healthy.
*Before anyone lights me up with the old flame thrower, I am not anti-union necessarily. What I am is anti-self-destruction. Many unions forget that the success of their people is tied directly to the success of the company. They focus so hard on draining the life out of the company for the benefit of the members, that they forget that the company signs the checks, which would disappear along with the company. I am all for a fair wage for a day’s work, but these unions have gone beyond fair, and into exorbitant. Unions used to serve a purpose, but I feel as though in many industries, that purpose has played out. People used to strike because of dangerous, unhealthy work conditions and slave wages. Now, they strike for a lower co-pay on their gold-plated health plan. It is simply the union trying to justify their existence in a world where I feel they are mostly becoming irrelevant, and I think it would do them some good for companies to start failing under their influence, and restart and reset without union interference.
A good mother, for once...
And what does the media do? Puts the story on the front page of national news outlets. IMHO, they are trying to demonize her for punishing her son. You guys read it and see what you think, or if you think I am just being sensitive about the whole thing. What I see is a mother who sees her son riding his bike without a helmet, against the rules, and riding out in front of a car and getting hit. Just as my Mom would have done to me, or I would do to MY son, he got grounded/punished for not following the rules.
And it makes headline news, with the headline purposely reading to make it seem like the boy is being punished for being in a horrible accident, so that readers go into the story with a bias against the mother.
The facts are:
It wasn’t an accident, it was the boy being stupid;
The boy wasn’t wearing his helmet, which was against the rules.
He got punished, and the news media thinks that is their business.

But Mommy Says I'm a Winner!
I don't think any of us here are shocked by this. We all saw it coming. When they started giving out participation trophies at track (just as big as the ones the winner got). When they stopped keeping score at soccer and basketball games (so no one feels bad). When just showing up to class got you a B and showing a little effort got you an A. When kids started feeling entitled to a plasma TV, and an Xbox, and a new cell phone, and a car when they got their license. A new car, mind you. And their parents obliged. If everyone is saying that you're the best, why would believe otherwise?
This is my favorite quote from the article: "These kids didn't raise themselves, they got these ideas from somewhere," Twenge said.

Socialized Medicine and President BOHICA
As we heard numerous times during the campaign, Senator Obama wants EVERYONE to have medical insurance. So far the insurance companies and the PharmaCos have been silent. Or, have they?
It seems to me that Obama was playing to his party's strongest supporters, the African-American community voted between 95% and 97% for Obama. But I think the drug companies saw ALL of this coming a few years ago. Why else would they start giving the new drugs names that sound like names among African-American women?

Of course, obamunists call us 'nuts' and claim we're panicking. Not panicked - just 'nervous'.
- Last month, as an Obama win looked increasingly inevitable, there were 62,000 more background checks for gun purchases than in October 2007, a 25 percent increase. And they were up about 8 percent for the year as of Oct. 26, according to the FBI.
- No data was available for gun purchases this week, but gun shops from suburban Virginia to the Rockies report record sales since Tuesday's election.
- "They're scared to death of losing their rights," said David Hancock, manager of Bob Moates, where sales have nearly doubled in the past week and are up 15 percent for the year
- Franklin Gun Shop outside Nashville, Tenn., sold more than 70 guns on Tuesday, making it the biggest sales day since the shop opened eight years ago. Guns & Gear in Cheyenne, Wyo., also set a one-day sales record on Tuesday, only to break that mark on Wednesday
- ...the gun store Cheaper Than Dirt! in Fort Worth, Texas, sold $101,000 worth of merchandise, shattering its single-day sales record...
- One Georgia gun shop advertised an "Obama sale" on an outdoor sign

To The Men and Women of the United States of America
The history of this great nation has gone through many highs and lows since its infancy. We can all look at our own past issues of slavery, Civil war, riots, lynchings, mobs, crime, abuse of power, as well as our own lack of caring for each other. We can also look at past and present to see the true standout situations that make this country great. Neighbors have given what they have to others who have lost everything; "strangers" have risked their own safety or possessions to help another because it is the right thing to do. Sending money, food and clothing, to millions of people around the world everyday, sending our young men and women to countries we have never thought about to risk their lives and our welfare to give someone else a chance to live in a free society. We do these things as individuals and as a Nation. We do these things because we care for others individually and as a Nation. We do these things because we are FREE.
Everyone, at one time or another has suffered from some type of mistreatment, poverty, sickness, depression, prejudice, abuse or just plain personal bad choices. What makes this Nation great is, that when you find yourself in this type of situation, if you will stand up and dust yourself off the chances of others around you helping you to get back on your feet is great.
The reverse of this is also true. If we decide to sit down and give up our rights to help others and our selves, then we almost surely loose everything.
I consider myself mainstream American. I work 90 to 100 hours a week, self employed and have six children. I have gone through very difficult times in my life and have watched as my life turned back around. My wife and all 6 of my children believe and run our lives based on the simple fact that we have the right to produce and succeed if we will give what it takes. We are a multi-race family, which has seen its fair share of difficulties just because of the external and internal differences that come with the territory. We have given of our time and money as well as been given to by others (most of whom didn't even know us). Our children are your "normal" American children. They still have to be told no, they still are trying to understand how Mom and Dad made it through childhood without a cell phone or Ipod. We mow or own yard, change the oil in the car, clean our house, get all the home work done, feed everybody, pet the dog and give everybody a kiss or “I Love You” before bed.
At the end of the day; I am Free to choose how hard I work; what I spend money on or who I give it to.
MY POINT: I am a conservative. It is my RIGHT and my RESPONSIBILITY to provide not only for myself but for others as well. The founding fathers and many people since have paid the ultimate price to insure those rights. Today I will invoke two of my rights as a United States citizen and exercise my right to free speech and my right to stand up and be counted.
I DO NOT AGREE with a number of positions that John McCain has. More importantly, I do not agree with any of the socialist, radical, anti-United States of America positions and beliefs that Obama has.
We, as Americans, owe it to ourselves and this country to stop one of the largest attacks on American soil against our rights, constitution, and our way of life we have ever seen. When we are successful, we owe it to ourselves to get involved to not only reverse the erosion of this great country but we (individually) need to reach out to help others.
(1) Go vote and stop Obama from dismantling the United States of America and its constitution
(2) Get involved in helping others understand that they can become whatever they want to be
(3) Stay involved helping make sure that John McCain and the government gets held to very high standards
Whoever you are, whatever race you are, however old you are.........this is the United States of America.
We can because we are free!!!
We can because the government works for us, not the other way around !!!!

The Future of the Republican Party
I don’t believe that in the remainder of my lifetime another party – whether it’s the Constitution Party or the Conservative Party or the Libertarian Party – will ever unseat the GOP as “THE” other party in what is clearly a two-party system. I also believe that in the foreseeable future the GOP is about as useful in protecting our individual Constitutional freedoms as a duck hunter in Death Valley.
We have one alternative: Turn the GOP into the party of constitutionalists, conservatives, and libertarians. If we are going to do that in time for my year-old grandson to live a life as good as the one I’ve enjoyed (so far), we have to begin NOW. It begins at the local level, boys and girls. From the local level it proceeds to the County level – then to the State level – finally to The Punk’s level.
‘Grass Roots’ begins with your PTA and your Town Council. (The same way Sarah did it.) Get involved.

And your next president is...
If I were to be elected president, I would want it to be now. You could shit your pants at a press conference and blame in on Bush, and the media and constituency would just eat it up, baby!
My advice to President Elect Obama (because I know he reads this blog and listens to what I have to say);
1.) Listen to your own campaign rhetoric. Realize that damn near 50% of the people whom you are serving did not want you as president and do not want what you are offering. You promised not to be a divider, to reach across the isle and bring us together. Time to match your actions to your words.
2.) Stop being so self-centered. It is not about you anymore. When things get tough, I don't want to hear you whining about how everyone is picking on you. You chose this path, now buckle down and do the best for America that you can, and for once, forget about yourself and your own ambitions.
3.) Stop punishing dissent. There have been a couple of times in your campaign that I worry about your tendency to quash any dissent and excommunicate anyone that does not tout your party line. This is not a sign of a person that would be a uniting presence, as you have promised us.
4.) Think about AMERICA'S best interest when appointing new SCOTUS justices, not your own agenda. Judges interpret law, not make new law. Remember that.
5.) Don't mess with our rights, or you won't like it. That includes 2nd amendment rights. That means no 500% tax on ammunition, no "assault" weapons ban, and no restrictions on handguns.
6.) Take it easy at first. You don't need to get your security force, socialize healthcare, and even up the wealth in the country all at once. For our sake and yours, lets have a discussion about it before you do anything rash.
I hope you'll listen to what I've written, but am sure you will not. You believe that you have won a mandate, as do your toadies in the senate and house. You haven't. You've won for one reason and one reason only: The Republicans were worse than you were. That means you are the lesser of two evils, President Elect Obama, not a new hope or direction.
And finally, I am sorry that your grandmother, who put so much of herself into you and was repaid by being branded a rascist and thrown under the bus to feed your own ambition, did not live to see this day. I hope that you reconiled what you've said and done to her before she died, and you have my deepest condolences that your day of victory had to be marred by your Grandmother's death (as I am sure that is how you look at the situation, self cetered as you are.)
Goober, the Presidential Advisor.
