How do you say Jack the Ripper in Spanish?

.
Cops discover 11th body at N.M. crime scene
.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Police in New Mexico have unearthed an 11th body outside Albuquerque.

The remains were found buried in roughly 30-by-10-yard area atop a mesa west of the city.

Police have been searching the area since Feb. 2, when a hiker found a human bone on the mesa, which had been cleared for a housing development.
.
Albuquerque police think one person is responsible for burying the bodies but have not named a suspect.

.
You mean 16 different people didn't use the same plot to bury the bodies? Who writes this stuff? Better still, who needed to be told it's probably just one person?
.
I'm not a fan of Albuquerque, but this seems like trouble for them, that NO ONE needs. But is this drug war related, and NOT a serial killer? Drug addicted street people would make good mules.
.
I heard a story yesterday the the Southwest is experiencing a rash of kidnappings and killings. Phoenix is averaging one kidnapping per day. Or one per day that is being reported to police anyway. The police think, more are occurring but going unreported.
.
From ABC on the 11th.

Phoenix and Southern Arizona have become the kidnapping capital of the U. S. due to the drug cartels operating out of there.

Oh, i think one or two more of those fancy multi-million dollar cameras along the border should fix everything.

Anon,
I wonder about the "costs" of things like that too. I can buy a security system for a house, with outdoor cameras guaranteed for 5 years, for less than $1000 with 4 cameras.

Why then does the gub'ment need 50 times that much for 4 cameras? Zoom? Or IR? I can buy that too. If they'd stop thinking about a single camera that can zoom out to a mile and go with one that will zoom 300 yards, placed every 300 yards, it WOULD save millions.

But I don't run the OMB or any procurement centers. I just fund the idiots that do.

Along this line of reasoning, I saw a guy put a $200 pin hole camera on a small RC plane. It was capable of flying for 3 hours, and took pictures from 500 feet up. Total cost, less than $1000.

Weigh that against the cost of what the ground troops have now. They get less time aloft, less height, with less picture acuity for 30 times the cost.

Again, I'm only the poor schmuck who pays the bill.

Build the effing wall. Use illegal aliens to do it. Sentence everyone caught entering illegally to a year of fence building. Sentence the "Coyotes" to 10 years. Make the women caught wash their laundry and cook for them.

The wall may never get finished, but the northward flow would certainly slow down. And then so would the drugs, the kidnappings and the illegal alien crimes. From murder to drunk driving, it would all go way down if THEY weren't here.

I live near albuquerque in edgewood, the last bastion of responsibility and freedom in NM. They already have an idea who did this, bit he died last year. I just hope they can get some ID's so they can return the remains. But being New Mexico, half of the money spent will go into some politicians pocket.

Steve,

I was clenching my fist for your post, until you got to the labor supply for the wall. Then I unclenched my fist -- that part was a good idea!

Go to recovery.gov and offer it as a way to spend the stimulus money. Hire a couple extra border guards, get a couple dozen more workers. Good trade!
