If he were truly a conservative he would have had, as part of his legislative agenda, a balanced budget and a plan to return our fiat money system to the gold standard. If he were truly a conservative he would not have committed American troops to a military adventure to affect regime change in a country that posed no real threat to the United States.
Because Bush allowed his lack of interest in economic policy to result in the current financial turmoil, our liberal visitor attemprts to blame us for putting him into office. This is an assumption; nay, naked, arrogant presumptiousness on his part to say that he knows for whom I voted in 2000 and 2004.
