The Price Of Poker Is Going Up

As we Poker players say when the game really starts to get serious, "the price of Poker is going up", meaning, if you don't have the stomach for what's coming, fold now.

It's now pretty clear, even to the brain-dead weaklings in our govt. and at the UN, that Iran is about one breath away from having The Bomb. (assuming they don't already have it) After years of using lies, distractions, and subterfuge, and playing for time by making fools of the US, the UN, and just about everyone else, Iran seems ready to rock! But fear not. We have Hitlary Clinton out there talking the talk and keeping us safe. (OY!)

Will they attack Israel or the US? IMO no. They're crazy, but they're not stupid. In order to keep his hands clean-looking, Iran's president Igotmypajamason will, IMO, do something better. He'll simply give or sell the technology to every terrorist group in the world. Part of the price for that technology could be that terrorists acknowledge Iran as their real leader and will hit targets that Iran wants hit. Well, for starters anyway. It's the old war by proxy tactic made famous by Russia and the ChiComs. Iran, knowing they have nothing to fear from the gutless dolts in the US and the UN, will of course continue to play for time while the technology is spread around. The "wild card" here is Israel. Will the US be able to continue keeping Israel handcuffed? Iran may be counting on that, since it's worked so well in the past. Pull-up a chair and stand by. Oh, you just might want to dig-out those dusty old plans for that backyard bomb shelter...

Why go for Israel who have really good security and go for something like oh I don't know, like a militar base in Afganistan of an american interest in Africa of europe. That makes more sense and has a bigger impact.

QUOTABLE QUOTES
“If I were to say that many women [who] voted for Obama are irrational, politically ignorant, flighty, and confuse the tingling in their genitals with the kinds of political thoughts that actual grown-ups have, I'd be called a misogynist. So I won't say it. …I'll let the women in question say it for me."

Prepare to see Israel go pre-emptive.

keeping Israel handcuffed

We aren't keeping, nor do we have the power to keep, Israel handcuffed. They are playing along for now, but you rest assured that Iran will not ever get a nuclear weapon so long as Israel has breath in it's lungs. They will do to Iran exactly the same thing that they did to Saddam back in the 80's. They'll find some monumentally brave, selfless, and fearless jet pilots to undertake what is essentially a suicide mission against the Iranian nuclear targets, and bomb the weapons program back intot he stone age.

And before any of you more anti-Israeli leanign folks out there start likening this action to the suicide bombers the "other side" deploys, remember this...

This is a mission against a valid military target, not innocent civilians. it is also a mission of survivial, not of hate and a desire to kill as many people as possible. That makes all of the difference in the entire world, and you know it.

Israel grudgingly acts according to United States dictates because the Israelis want U. S. support and the flow of arms and materiel to continue. Iran probably has enough plutonium to build a bomb and they have denied Israel's right to exist. That having been said, Iran, Ahmenidijad, Khamenei et al are not so stupid as to directly attack Israel. To do so is to positively assure their own destruction by Israel's fleet of four nuclear missile submarines. A more likely scnario is that Iran will provide a nuclear device to the Shiite militia Hezbollah in Lebanon or to Hamas in Palestine for use against Israel.

And, by the way, anyone who says that we do not have a national security interest in preventing Iran or any other country hostile to the Unites States from becomming a nuclear power is either hoplessly naive, virulently anti-American or so monumentally ignorant of international affairs that their opinions are without merit.

Goob, if not for us holding them back, (a mistake IMO) Israel would have ended the Iranian problem a long time ago. Remember, they already bombed Irans nuke facilities the last time they got close to making a bomb.

And yes, we do have a lot to say about what actions they take, and for the exact reasons nerd mentioned. They need our support, money, ($5+ Billion a year) and international influence, such as it is. Without our support these past decades, they could not have survived.

Also, i'm not sure i understand your anti-Israeli leaning folks remark. Just what is that based on?

We should let Israel fight our wars for us for cost plus 10%.

that's funny as hell.

Dude, I think that defines ANYONE Jewish, who makes a conscious decision to live and stay in Israel. It's a vote, daily, on living as a warrior. They'd could leave and live anywhere in the west, in relative peace. But they stay and fight. That takes big brass ones, IMHO.

Don't make the mistake of confusing Israeli jews with jews from other places, like the U.S. They are two very different peoples. One being fighters, the other being whiners and appeasers. It's probably the main reason they are not nearly as close as many think they are. They just share the same religion.
