How do you stay in power if you are a liberal?

EASY
~
The liberal congress steals $90,000,000 from hardworking conservative taxpayers, (there's no other kind of taxpayer); they make it exclusively available to liberal activists; and they call it "stimulus."
~
The fact that the only thing "stimulated" would be a short, limp Hairy Reed makes no difference to the commander-in-thief and his worshippers because it may help keep them in power. And the morons who elected him are too enthralled with their little brown gawd to care that he intends to reduce their lives to unimaginable hardship. He promised free cheese and the morons ate the bait.
~
With every move the liberals make, the market falls farther. Just as they intend? You think to yourself, "It's almost like they're engineering a market crash." Maybe it's because they are.
~
They can't have complete control over every breath that every citizen takes until everybody (but them) is helpless.
~
And that's the way it is, 020409, as America slips away and silly liberals go to bed with visions of "economic justice" dancing in their silly little (soon to be very hungry) heads.

Unless of course you're considering ALL the "stimulous package" as liberal activism... in which case I certainly can't argue. :-)

It wouldn't be unfair to say the whole package is liberal activism, since Republicans are pretty much being told to sit down and shut up. It's the price they (and we) will pay for their weakness.

What we're seeing now is a left-wing congress going hog-wild with our tax money. They're acting like junkies at a free-drug party. Some of the "pet projects" they've come up with are insulting to anyone who has to work for a living. We're also seeing something that some of us expected, that Yomama is just another slick talking politician who lied his way into the White House. All the campaign promises he made to all the fools who voted for him are being broken every day. And, this phony is just getting started!

But where is the outrage from the people? Have the American people become so mindless, so weak, so stupid, that they're just going to sit by and watch their country, and themselves, be raped? Have the people become that weak that they can't even voice some outrage at what's being done to them? Or, have they now been so anesthetized that they don't even realize what's going on.

QUOTABLE QUOTES
"You have heard, no doubt, that the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Interestingly enough, our government's own numbers show that many of the poor actually get richer, and that quite a few of the rich actually get poorer. But for the rich who do actually get richer, and the poor who remain poor ... there's an explanation -- a reason. The rich, you see, keep doing the things that make them rich; while the poor keep doing the things that make them poor."

WORD OF THE DAY
GUTLESS WONDER, n.

How America’s sworn enemies view the appeaser-in-chief, a clueless weasel who thinks the terrorist scumbags are as gullible as his glassy-eyed, slavishly devoted Obamazombies.

Jimbo, the market crashed last fall while your buddy was President.

ACORN is going to be your DADDY now! LOL

Proof that Obambi is omniscient:
Editorial

While campaigning he made several pledges/promises/whatever, that are now keypoints of his stimulus plan.

Weatherizing homes:
Take the home weatherization program. On CNN Obama argued that this $6 billion program was nonnegotiable because: "First of all, you can employ people weatherizing those homes."

But Obama announced plans to weatherize a million homes a year last summer. Except back then it was touted as part of a plan to create a "clean energy future" — not as a jobs program.

Health IT:
How about investment in health information technology? In his Blueprint for Change, issued in August, Obama vowed to "Make an upfront investment of $50 billion in electronic health information technology systems to reduce errors, and save lives and money."

So why is this now a nonnegotiable part of a stimulus package?

Check the package. I have a big package.

As somebody who deals with health care-related info every day, I certainly can't argue that all-electronic record-keeping, etc., is a good idea. Making me pay for it isn't.

Yesterday's polls show that EVEN voting age Dems have turned their backs on this trillion dollar price tag. ONLY 37% of voting age people polled said they think we need this much "stimulation". And that's voting age, NOT voters.

I think the elected worms in D.C. have over played their hand.

Very few Americans, are dumb enough to think $300 million for STD funding is likely to get their job or house or car back!! Unless you grow sod $4oo million for grass isn't likely to send the kids to college. Etc! Etc! Etc!

With the way we're being forced into this "stimulous" package, are you starting to feel like they're trying to sell you a used car in the dark of night after blindfolding you?

I can deal with dark and blindfolds, it's the knife at my throat that I object to.
