Pelosi vs. the Pope

The Vatican says the pope lectured Pelosi about abortion and assisted suicide. Pelosi says they talked about poverty and global warming -- and she showed him pictures of her grandchildren.

Hmmmmm. I wonder who is telling the truth.

"I wonder who was telling the truth"

Hmmm. Are you accusing Nancy 9% Pelosi of "not telling the whole truth"?

I'm SHOCKED!

SHOCKED I TELL YOU! SHOCKED! (That she is stupid enough to believe 3 billion Christains would take her word over the Pope's.)

How stupid IS this woman?

Oh... wait... this is the same woman who said 500,000,000 Americans were loosing there jobs every month...

he-he. You don't need to answer that question.

She and her genious's in Washington are the ones who believe saving habitat for a freaking marsh mouse (like they're REALLY any differnt than a field mouse or house mouse) will "stimulate" the economy. (Did you ever notice how silly liberals LOVE the word "stimulate"?)

Yep. I believe every word that comes out of her face (lift). She's one of the smartest turnips on the truck.

He pimp slapped her (verbally) and anyone who's Catholic knows it.

She gave interviews, that went around the world, and spoke for the church! You don't do that!! And worse still, she was WRONG.

It's the Pope's job, and his appointees to say, "OK, this is what we believe about "X"...". I'm pretty sure the Vatican doesn't need Pelosi's help with disseminating doctrinal information to the masses. Especially if she's gonna be WRONG!!!

...and say ten Rosaries!!!

I wonder if he asked her why her face looks and feels like a goalies mask.

The Pope is an atavistic anachronism and largely irrelevant in today's world. I especially liked the way the Church bravely stood up to the Axis during WW-II regarding the killing of 6 million Jews. Ya gotta love an organization that had its finest hours during the Dark ages and the Spanish Inquisition.

nerd,
Protestant by any chance?

Yes, the Vatican has, and will continue to make mistakes. That's because, even though I believe it's a place ordained of God, it's run by humans, with human thoughts and human failings. Show me any religious group that is completely blameless and without a wart.

If they exist I've never heard of them.

And just for the tally books, most of the powers in the world turned their backs on the Jews in Europe until AFTER WWII was over. Including FDR's Administration.

Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny...

Yeah, Schtevo, I'm a Primitive Baptist; but I was just funnin' ya like I do all my Catholic friends. They always bring up the Salem witch trials when I talk about the Inquisition.
