This should make many of you feel good, knowing that your new president, and his govt., are spending (see: giving away, wasting) our money wisely. Oh, you don't want your tax money used for things that clearly violate your religious beliefs? And you don't want your president to weaken our country even more, by watering-down those policies that have been protecting us from another terrorist attack? Too bad sparky! When did you start thinking you had something to say, about anything?

Obama flashes irritation in press room
Politico - By JONATHAN MARTIN & CARRIE BUDOFF BROWN | 1/22/09 6:43 PM EST
President Obama made a surprise visit to the White House press corps Thursday night, but got agitated when he was faced with a substantive question.
Asked how he could reconcile a strict ban on lobbyists in his administration with a Deputy Defense Secretary nominee who lobbied for Raytheon, Obama interrupted with a knowing smile on his face.
"Ahh, see," he said, "I came down here to visit. See this is what happens. I can't end up visiting with you guys and shaking hands if I'm going to get grilled every time I come down here."
Pressed further by the Politico reporter about his Pentagon nominee, William J. Lynn III, Obama turned more serious, putting his hand on the reporter's shoulder and staring him in the eye.
"Alright, come on" he said, with obvious irritation in his voice. "We will be having a press conference at which time you can feel free to [ask] questions. Right now, I just wanted to say hello and introduce myself to you guys - that's all I was trying to do."

OK, it's one thing to pay for abortions in America, but oversees? My tax dollars have been used for things that clearly violate my religious beliefs. And as for Jimbo's press release, let's see how he handles himself at his first "press conference". He got fair warning
This, my friends, is all part of hope, change and transparency.
Enjoy.
Can This Happen??
ONE PREDICTION THAT SEEMS POSSIBLE THE WAY THINGS ARE GOING
The man who predicted the 1987 stock market crash and the fall of the Soviet Union is now forecasting revolution in America, food riots and tax rebellions - all within four years, while cautioning that putting food on the table will be a more pressing concern than buying Christmas gifts by 2012.
Gerald Celente, the CEO of Trends Research Institute, is renowned for his accuracy in predicting future world and economic events, which will send a chill down your spine considering what he told Fox News this week.
And some in the media are starting to rebel.

I'm all for funding abortions over-seas. Africa, Middle-East, Malaysia.
The fewer of those a-holes the better!
What a democracy. Let's see.... here in NY we have a President- "the annointed one" a governor "by disgrace of the disappointed one" and a senator "the appointed one".

It's George Bush and Dick Cheney's fault.
I support post-birth abortion

Napalm is cheaper and some what more effective.
what a democracy
We aren't a democracy. We're a constitutional republic, which means that you don't get to vote on things like this (and honestly shouldn't) but you do get to petition your representative to DO SOMTHING about it, and ensure that they do so by withholding your vote for them if they choose not to.
Have at it, folks. Get to writing.
As for me, I hate the fact that my money goes to overseas abortion. I hate the fact that our country is so uptight about sex that we spend money trying to convince people to not do it (yeah, that's realistic) rather than just tell them how to do it without getting pregnant.
THat seems like a better, more ethical way to handle the problem.
