Loose Monkey Known To Throw Feces Evades Authorities
CLEARWATER, Fla. (AP) - Wildlife officials said a rhesus monkey known to throw feces when mad is on the loose in Tampa Bay. Authorities have been trying to capture the primate since Tuesday afternoon, but it managed to evade a bucket truck and tranquilizer dart.
Gary Morse with the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the adult male is thought to have escaped from an unlicensed source. It was last seen in Clearwater.

Amazing no was was seriously hurt, much less killed. Bravo to all involved. For this to have gone off so well, the passengers must have remained calm, the crew must have acted quickly, and bystanders jumped to action to do whatever they could, and every single one of them deserves a standing ovation.

why yes Steve you are right...just today in our 80 degree weather, I was down at Club Baby Seal eating lunch & having an adult beverage when this tourist lady asked me to help her tie up a bikini strap. So I did......
Latest details say there were only minor injuries. A truly outstanding piece of flying. The reports say the Capt. is a former jet fighter pilot. Based on the type of belly-landing he made, i'll bet he was carrier-based, as they practice that type of landing.
There were also reports of dark objects circling in the skies over NYC just above the plane. It turns out they were negligence lawyers preparing to swoop in.
They had a pilot on fox this morning that said that one of the reasons this pilot was able to do the water landing so well was that the pilot flies a glider in his spare time. Also the pilot interviewed said that a water landing is one of the most difficult things to do. He said that he didn't know of any water landings without deaths. This is one of those situations when you are just proud of people who are willing to go above and beyond to help others. God is at work!

The first help arrived at the plane in under 3 minutes. That river is some kind of busy, huh?
