It was bound to happen. He took the votes, then turned his back on his promises.

I guess he'll give the lefties a taste of what we've been dealing with for 8 years, huh?

The dismantling of The USA is about to commence in the final stages.

"The dismantling of The USA is about to commence in the final stages."

Let's begin by "giving" Texas to Mexico. We'll have the capital moved to Austin within months. Texas will save the Mexican economy, and we'll put up a fence on the Northern Border to keep out liberals. It's all so clear to me now...

I'm trying to watch football. Nice and non-political, right? WRONG! At half time they're going to have Katie Corrupt report on the inagural. Whoa! The stupid bastards are going to loose 90% of their halftime viewership - including yours truly.

We're already past socialized medicine. The gov't took over the banks and other financial institutions. It's done!

I never thought I would agree with a Jeremiah Wright quote.

"Obama can save us, says America as polls show wave of optimism sweeping the nation"

LOL! Is that why sales of firearms and ammunition are at an all-time high X 10? These polls must have been taken in the 'projects' of Chicago & Detroit!!!

But apparently not in the US where it counts:

Americans giving Obama extraordinary support: polls

WASHINGTON (AFP) – Barack Obama has attained extraordinarily high levels of public approval, according to opinion polls released Sunday, ahead of his historic inauguration ceremony as the first African-American president.

A survey conducted by The New York Times and CBS News found a US public eager to give the president-elect a wide berth as he attempts to turn around a faltering US economy, tackle global warming, help solve the intractable Middle East peace process, along with a plethora of other mammoth challenges.

Of those surveyed, 79 percent were optimistic about the next four years under Obama, the highest level of goodwill attained by any of the past five incoming presidents.

Enjoy your decades out of power conservatives. I know I will.

Cardinals vs. Steelers
South vs. North
Go Cardinals! They're my new favorite team. Kurt Warner is a really great guy. Hey, Jerry Jones is the scum of the earth. Mr. Bug predicts that he'll recruit Vick (hey, it worked with Pacman, didn't it?). Romo is in Mexico with Jessica. T.O. is a lost cause.

The next four years may just turn out to be fun to watch. We all know the half-breed won't/can't keep most of the promises he's made, and many of his Kool-Aid drinking followers are starting to figure that out. In fact, the in-fighting amongst Dumbocrats has already started. LOL!

Dream on Spider.

Your guys f*cked up BAD. Americans won't rehire republicans to take out the trash much less let them run the country again for a generation or more.

No, this meltdown is going to haunt republicans and specifically conservatives for decades. Free market economics and deregulation are done. They'll join social conservatism on the junk heap of history.

I'm thinking the same thing...it will be great fun to watch the gymnastics occur when everybody figures out they voted in a one-dimensional, lying, empty suit.

Those who have been in the driver's seat of the government, the left-wing, liberal Demoncrats, are now starting to realize their fair-haired goombah-for-hire is going to piss off the populace when his promises (lies) never happen.

All previous presidents lied to a degree during their campaigns, but never like Bohica's 100% blue-sky, 'more free cheese' proclamations.

It's coming to pass, already, that he's backing away from some of them and stating he'll do the exact opposite.

I think that bothers/scares the shorts off of the present denizens of Washington D.C. You can hear them starting to howl already.

This could start a rampage with all the bottom feeders.

Yeah, it'll be fun to watch, but not if it brings our country to its knees. And that is a highly probable scenario.

Poor RT, doesn't realize that our country is already on its knees thanks to republicans and george bush-hole.

Conservatism and it's two diseases, free-market economics and deregulation, are DEAD for the foreseeable future.

We can thank republicans for that.

I can't get over the part where they burned posters of him in Tehran and chanted "death to Obama!"

Aren't these the people that he wants to sit down with to "talk about it?"

I wonder if he is catching on that you cannot talk with hateful, irrational, fundamentalists who want you dead, no matter what you do or say. This has all got to be a pretty big shock for the junior senator/community organizer, huh?

I wonder if he is second-guessing his decision to jump into all of this so unprepared.

People all over the world, including many from countries we consider our allies & friends, burned pictures of bush. And worse.

So what's your point?

Judging a whole country by the actions of a few would be like judging America from reading this blog.
