This comes from my home state of NJ. Apparently some boob made a Facebook page for himself with a lot of racist comedy on it. Maybe its in poor taste, but the rest of the story is insane. I mean not only did he lose his job but he is being investigated to see if posting that stuff counts as a hate crime! RIP Freedom of Speech.

What is a bias crime? Poor taste? Yes. Reprehensible? Yes. Illegal? Don't be silly! It seems that the only issue here is whether he posted this drivel to hie Facebook page on his employer's time. If so, fire him for using city resources for personal purposes.

As i've always said, there are lots of people who are very lucky that stupidity isn't a capital offense. But a hate crime? What would they have called this if the phony hate crime law wasn't invented? But, something tells me we had better get used to this, now that we're living in Year 1 of The New Order.
