Many of us have been complaining about our two-party system of government for a long time. It's a system that's clearly designed to keep new people, fresh minds, and good ideas out of the power structure. Now that the Republicans have been politically banished to some irrelevant status, (thanks to their weakness) we're down to one party. The Demoncrats are in control and they have no qualms about letting everyone know it.
I saw Nancy Botox on TV today, after she was leaving a meeting on this new $850 BILLION welfare handout. She was asked why the Republicans present weren't given a chance to offer their amendments to the bill. She "glared" at the reporter and said, "it's our bill and we have all the votes we need". She said this while Yomama was at the White House telling Republicans that they must get along with Demoncrats, or else! Is it just me, or is "our" new govt. starting to sound a lot like Hugo Chavez's government?

Time for the republicans to swallow their arrogance and let someone else lead. They had their chance and BLEW IT. Now, as in the past, republicans should slither off back under the sink until they can convince some generation of the future that selfishness, greed and dishonesty are the keys to the good life.

Whether most Americans realize it or not, (and IMO most don't since they're still high on all that Kool-Aid) we're seeing the beginings of something not exactly new in DC, but now certainly more obvious, "govt. rule by force". In other words, "bully govt.". You'll do it our way or you won't do it at all! If that's the case, it fits into the standard left-wing motto of, "just do as we say, not as we do".
Actually, this type of governing isn't all that new, since the Dumbocrats have always used this tactic. The Left knows they may have only four years to destroy life as we know it in this country, so they're going to push as hard as they can.
Will the people simply roll-over and take it as the Republicans did? And since we see what their weakness has done for them, will ours do the same thing to us?
Only 4 years? LOL, the republicans f*cked up so bad they'll be out of power for DECADES. Just like in the decades after the last Depression republicans gave the people.
