The new abreviation for DUMBASS is DMX

.
UPDATE 11:30 EDT, here's a link, courtesy of friend Anonymous.
.
I looked for the video or story but really can't find a link anywhere. I saw a clip on FOX several times this morning of one Earl Simmons, aka rapper DMX. Mr. Simmons is upset that Joe Arpaio is making him wear pink under wear.
.
In the clip, he said, and this is NOT a direct quote, "...you used to be able to go to jail, do your time, be a clown from da' block, it whudn't too bad, but THIS [tugging at his pink t-shirt] what does THIS mean?"
.
FOX also interviewed Sheriff Joe and guess what? Joe really could not care any less about Earl's sartorial opinion. He dyed the skivvies so DMX and the other criminals would quit stealing the stuff on their way out the do'. It worked, DMX clearly won't be taking his.
.
Arpaio also said that DMX, as well as many others, say they'll leave Arizona when their time in his facility is complete, so as not to be sent back.
.
Oddly, he sees that passing on trouble to other states as a good thing. (tongue in cheek) They were convicted, they did NON-fun [non-clown] time in Joe's jail, he made them hot, sweaty and miserable, he made them eat cold scrambled eggs, PB&J and bologna sandwiches, and they don't want to go back.
.
Isn't that the point of jail? It's not a spa!!
.
Just for the tally books, DMX was arrested 6 or 7 times LAST YEAR ALONE, in 3 different states, on charges ranging from animal cruelty to ID theft to drugs / guns by a felon and while on probation. He is then, by entertainment industry standards, a stand up, but misunderstood fellow.
.
I expect he'll move to L.A. or NYC when released. Any bets?

– South Korea on Thursday opened the country's first state-run clinic to chemically castrate sex offenders, officials said.

A therapy using drugs, hormones and other ingredients to lower an offender's sex drive will be offered to rapists or paedophiles who opt for the treatment, the Justice Ministry said in a statement.

Ministry officials said the treatment aimed to prevent recidivism.

"It is the country's first such clinic," Heo Sang-Gu, director at the ministry's anti-crime planning bureau, told AFP as the clinic opened at the National Institute of Forensic Psychiatry in Gongju city 160 kilometres (100 miles) south of Seoul.

"They can refuse to take the prescribed treatment, which will however prolong their custody longer than necessary."

Under South Korean law sex offenders can be detained for treatment for as long as 15 years, he added.

The ministry said the clinic, now capable of treating 100 patients, would be expanded to accept some 300 by next year.

Thanks Anon,
try as I might I could not find that prior to my posting this.

Isn't he, Mr. Simmons, a pip? Arrested 6 times, yet HE"S the victim, typical, typical jail house drivel. I wonder what the person, the one he stole the ID from, thinks of his little tirade about pink undies?

D'ya think they're concerned about his embarrassment?

This attitude on the part of black "celebrities" is nothing new. When they were just gang-bangers and street criminals, they knew the cost of getting busted. Now that they're "famous", they expect a free pass. If that's what they expect, they'd better stay the hell out of Sheriff Joe's territory! I still don't understand why Sheriff Joe isn't our new president.

The last person I want as our president is an ex-prison warden. You want to talk about totalitarian tendencies!

j/k

As it were, I really do like what Joe has been up to. I'm not one of those guys that stands around claiming that prisons in America are like country clubs, but they are certainly too comfortable for most of these guys, I'll tell you that much. Jail needs to be a place that you do not want to go back to. As it sits, most folks do end up going back, which to me is proof that we haven't motivated them enough to stay out, because they are too comfortable.
