FYI: I happened to notice one of our visitors (Baptist Pastor) posting over at TT3, saying how Annie violated her own stated standards by flushing HLF down the tubes where it belongs. I advised him that it was the members of our little family here, not Annie, who made that decision, and why it was made. I also told him that if his sensitivities were offended by our decision, perhaps Annie's wasn't the place for him. His response to me is above.
He feels that we don't like anyone reading our posts. I told him that we don't mind someone reading our posts, or discussing them, or arguing them. But it's the personal attacks, foul language, and the total lack of real interest in anything being discussed here that most of us objected to. Please know that it wasn't my intention to speak for any of you.
For those of you who may not know - it was little ol' me who shit-canned HLF's posts last night.
I got an email from Annie this morning. She apparently supports my (our) decision.
Says Annie: "...I cannot tolerate any more of his insults to the people I love. I don't believe that we are obligated to be receptacles for his anger, hatred and insults."
If Mr. Baptist Preacher, or anyone else believes that free speech means one has to be a punching bag foor a hateful crap-brained moron, then I don't want their kind of free speech.
And as for the subject at hand - I think Harry should stand up for himself. He called a spade a spade; that takes backbone - something his daddy seldom shows.
