We were talking here, below, about global warming. Or the lack there of in Europe late last week.
.
Well just to keep you up to date, we here in Central NC are looking at 3" to 6" of the white stuff tonight, depending on how far north you live. If it snows locally in my county, it will be the second such major occurrence in a few weeks.
.
It's been 10 years since we've had two snow events beyond flurries, in the same winter!! Sounds like it's getting warmer than 1998 to me!! Yeah, well BS to Al Gore.

The "It's gonna get colder before it gets warmer" argument of these folks is no different than "I voted for it before I voted against it" argument
I am sure BOW can attest to the fact that this has been the coldest winter here in the northeast in a while.
Billy O,
you'z be sangin' to de choir.
I also like, "...we can't predict in the short term all the swings or events, but we KNOW it leads to Global Warming."

Yup-had to rescue the wife's minivan from being stuck at the end of the drive again--2nd time this winter. And she never gets stuck. If not global, I cold at least use a little Yardly Warming.
"could" use, that is
Fear not guys. Fat Al will reappear in July to tell us how hot it is, and of course, why.
We just moved from out tiny one bedroom apartment to a whopping 2 bedroom house (while our 3200 sq ft, 6 bedroom sits empty & unsold 300 miles away)
aside from quadrupling the sqr footage and reducing rent by $50, we had to get away from one of the neighbors. We laughed with the property manager when she showed us an email demanding a refund of all deposits and remaining rent due to "false advertising".
the couple came from down the "hill" in L.A. The false advertising was that the property manager had informed the couple when they moved up to Barstow that it "never" snows here.
In all six years that I have endured the high desert (only 327 days to go) it has "never" snowed like it did before Christmas. That would be all six years combined.
This same couple has a "Yes we did" sticker on their car that no matter how I look at it reminds me of a poster of Lenin (not John).
