It's been a long time since i've seen semi-violent, student protests here in the International Public Toilet. (a.k.a. NYC ) In fact, not since the anti-Viet Nam war riots of the late 60's and early 70's, have i seen so many worthless, young losers take over a building in protest! It seems some of the young, wealthy, elitists who attend New York University decided to take-over it's main building. What are they protesting? Well, they say they want more transparency in the University's financial reporting. (Huh?) Oh, they're also demanding "free tuition for all Palestinians being oppressed in Gaza"! Did you actually think it was about the school's finances? (LOL)
NYU, like Columbia, is home to, and produces many of NYC's anarchists, Marxists, and communists. I watched some of these young nitwits on this mornings news, wearing their Yassar Arafat (sp.) scarves, and flying the Palestinian flag, making their demands. Back in day when i was a young lad in the NYPD and was sent to the anti-war "protests", (they were in fact riots) those demands would've been made while en route to the nearest emergency room. No Palestinian scarf, just bandages. But today, in the new Amerika, i'm sure they'll get whatever they demand, and more...

How about free tuition for Israeli orphans who were made orphans by rockets flown from Gaza? I know, stop making sense.
When I started reading your headline, I thought it was going to be about a story I heard on FOX this morning. There is Student Manifesto, going nationwide, stating that students should get grades based solely on attendance. 100% is an "A", 85% is a "B", blah, blah, blah.
The anti-attendance (conservative) professor said it comes from a society where all the kids who compete get a trophy. The professor who thinks it should be considered (liberal) said thinking that way "isn't fair" to their ideas or DEMANDS.
Not hard to see WHY the students think they should get graded for attendance if she's the one making the rules! I may go back to school. It certainly sounds easier than when I really went before. And I'm too old to party all night so getting to class should be a breeze.
"It's ridiculous," said Mitchell Goulding, 18, who works for the school newspaper....."The general consensus right now among the student body is that they are a bunch of idiots," he said.
I agree!
Yeah, that's pretty sound reasoning for an 18 y/o at NYU. I'll bet he gets indoctrinated before he graduates though. Too bad.
Not many come out of there able to think for themselves.
Well, it's over. The student-led assault on NYU was broken by the NYPD. Apparently, NYU officials claim they have not, and will not, honor any of the bizarre and wide-ranging demands made by the young Marxists rioters.(they didn't give in? Amazing!)
Now, after they accomplished nothing, these worthless, young nitwits will crawl into a hole somewhere with their fellow Marxists, get stoned, call mommy and daddy for more money, and tell "war" stories of their great three days in history. For the rest of us here, it's already forgotten.
