Well, that's what yo new Attorney General said. According to this Chicago Marxist, we're cowards because we won't talk about race issues. Without actually saying it, you know that crack was aimed at White America. Of course, what the new AG failed to mention is the fact that anytime anyone tries to have "an honest, rational, and truthful" discussion about race, blacks, and their guilt-ridden White liberal supporters, call you a racist! Note the last sentence, where he tells his DOJ staff that "they have a special responsibility to advance racial understanding". What does that mean in English? The return of Affirmative Action? (it actually never ended) An end to prosecuting black criminals? As time goes on, i'm sure his true meaning will become clear to those who are paying attention...

A majority of the nation's voters are apparently cowards. I can't argue with that.
There re a number of things at work here. I'll enumerate them, for myself anyway.
When I was a kid I attended Catholic Grade Schools that were integrated. I've never been in a segregated school. The little league we played in, was integrated. By the time I got to public schools, they were integrated. This was in the early to late 1960's, in KY, and FL and NC. I lived the first 16 years of my life, below the Mason-Dixon Line.
The first real racial incident I ever saw was in Columbus Ohio, in 1972. I've witnessed more overt and vocal racism in Oregon and Washington, than any other place in the country. I was witness to my business partner being denied service in hotels and restaurants, by being ignored. I heard people yell, "...nigger..." in Portland and Bellingham. That happened 1998.
Oddly when you cross into Canada, it stops.
I don't have but one good African-American friend. He's that same business partner. But he's not "typical". His mother is a teacher, his father is an engineer. Ever own any of those Goodyear tires that shed rain? Derrik's dad was the lead engineer on that design.
Unfortunately his brother is typical. 3 kids, to two different women, never been married, in and out of jail.
My friend married a white woman who had a mixed race son. Now they have two together. The are Conservative minded Christians who attend a small mixed race congregation. He says most of the African-American women he dated were interested in his car, his stereo, and how much money he could give them. That's a basis for a family alright.
When he goes home to Cleveland, most of the guys he went to school with, are like his brother. They call him a "sell out", "white man's boy", "college boy", "jr whitey". Sad but true,I've seen it. Where's the dialog? Where's the possibility?
Those are my credentials for my coming tirade.
I've lived and worked with people of all races. Stereotypes aside, I'd rather work with someone who works hard, and helps when it's needed, and is reliable. That's the "race" I want to be part of. I've worked, lived and been around lazy white guys and women. You can have them. The same goes for the PWT who live and act like "the bruthas". The ones with no job, and a, "you owe me" and "I can't get nuttin' outta nobody 'cuz'a my clothes an'hair, an da way I talks." All said with a cigarette hanging out of their mouth, with pants hanging off his ass, a Yankees jacket that's 4 sizes too big and his hat on, with the bill about 40 degrees to the left.
My wife's best friend has just such a son. Raised by a father with big money who let him run wild. Then dad dropped dead and mom has him again. 16 y/o, 1 child out of wedlock, won't work or go to school.
You know the type. In the south they are commonly called "wiggers", by blacks and whites. He's a white, gangsta wannabe.
The problem comes in, these days, with just what he has been sold as "cool" and acceptable. Of course it''s been sold to most youth, black, white, green, yellow or polka dotted alike.
The gangsta life.
How ingrained is this stupidity? WELL, when Bill Cosby spoke out about it, even he was accused of racism.
Mr. Holder is dead ass wrong about white cowardice. There's no possible cross race dialog, if educated, well known and powerful African-Americans are shouted down when they point out the problems in their own race.
Here's my final thought.
What would have happened if a white AG had said this, and aimed it at Blacks in America?
He'd need a new gig, and we all know it.

Not just cowards, but weak, mindless fools.
What the AG was doing (IMO) was simply preparing us for what's coming. I believe we'll see a huge increase in the number of racial discrimination cases, and so-called hate-crime cases, both of which will of course, be directed at Whites.
I also believe this AG will be the spear-point (is that racial?) for an all-out and very serious attack on the recent SCOTUS 2nd Amendment decision. In fact, he's already said it was a bad decision that needs to be "reviewed". His move will accomplish two things. 1) it will allow Yomama, a rabid anti-gun zealot, to say "it wasn't me who took your guns away". 2) it will bring the far-left back into the Yomama camp for 2012.
I will also repeat something i've said before. As someone who has worked with and amongst blacks, in NYC's toughest black neighborhoods since the mid 60's, i can tell you that IMO, the majority of blacks are by far, the most racist people i've seen!
In a speech to Justice Department employees marking Black History Month, Holder said the workplace is largely integrated but Americans still self-segregate on the weekends and in their private lives.
I would point out the following to the A. G.:
Congress shall make no law...abridging...the right of the people peaceably to assemble..."
Does the A. G. plan to suspend our right to free association in the name of a "national convertsation on race" that President Obama called for during the campaign?
I've lived and worked with people of all races.
The worst "race" of all races are redneck peckerwoods like me who live in the hills with too many guns.
The reason we cannot talk about race, try a cartoon about the chimps in congress and Al Sharptongue immediately puts a racial spinn on it, the AG can eat me!!!!
