And this means what?

Gotta love the mainstream press because no one is really digging into this ... the Obama team did an internal investigation that found no wrong-doing of any staff member. This is not surprising considering the person who conducted the investigation is a member of that team. Yet the press just accepts the report. I mean this is like an underboss in the Mafia investigating the mafia then telling us there is nothing untoward there.

Nothing short of a full confession and a pre-inaugural resignation by Obama will satisfy you people. You'll dog this guy like you did Clinton, calling for investigations of his latest bowel movement. When you people lose you demand a do-over through the pursuit of endless scandal-mongering and investigation.

Obama and the democrats would be wise to start demonizing republicans and pointing out what they're doing so the people can reject your kind once again in 2010.

The most galling thing is that you don't care about finding the truth or getting answers. Your motivation is to tie up a political leader so he can't govern.

What you don't realize is that this isn't 1992 and you won't be given the attention you got then. Your side will be vilified for doing this during a time when leadership is badly needed.

Even Newt Gingrich said as much last week.

yepper - for the next 4 years we will haunt his every move & second guess his every decision.....if it was good enough for Bush, its good enough for Obama

this is the quote I meant to use in the above

"The most galling thing is that you don't care about finding the truth or getting answers. Your motivation is to tie up a political leader so he can't govern."

I was laughing so hard I mis-quoted

Bush was not investigated ONCE. He had a republican Congress to make sure that didn't happen. Ifthey had we probably wouldn't be on such a steep decline.

Good luck crying wolf again. It won't ring as true as we sink further into a depression that the people have alreaady determined was caused by republicans.

Or did you miss the last two elections?

I guess FSB doesn't mind being taxed all the way to the outhouse.

that's SFB. Must be my dyslexia again.

Herein lies the difference. Most of us here will call out republicans and democrats when we see them screwing us. HLF and his ilk never see anything wrong with the liberals and only find fault with republicans.

I personally find both democrats and republicans to be 2 sides of the very same coin.

I don't think Obama or his staff did anything wrong except maybe not reporting conversations to the FBI.

I don't think BO spoke directly with Blago (or his people) about anything illegal. I think there were shady conversations between Blago's people and Rahm where Rahm told them that he couldn't help them. The initial report say the Gov. was mad becuase BO wouldn't give him anything. He's too smart in the way of Chicago politics to screw it up once he made it to the big show.

HLF,
In this case, you should welcome an investigation. Unless they pull a "Nixon/Scooter" on him and get him not for the crime, but for the cover-up.

It doesn't matter what you speculate, Mikey. It's not like you or any other stems here want answers, You just want investigations.

As soon as we get done investigating Bush's lies about WMDs, his blocking regulation of Fannie & Freddie and the republicans' blocking the same, the mismanagement of the economy and the complicity of republicans in bringing us down, we might get to this.

My New Years Resolution will be to show the same respect to the little black corrupt god the liberals worship as they showed to the out-going president.

No more, no less.

"Bush was not investigated ONCE."

Henry (pig nose) Waxman, the 4' tall, socialist senator, has been investigating Bush ever since Bush took office. The "only" thing he's accomplished is to waste "tens-of-millions" of tax dollars.

As for this openly-phony "investigation" into the liars that surround Yomama Bahama, it is exactly what the American people deserve. It was intended to make fools of the already dumb voters, and it accomplished that. In fact, they're so dumb that they don't recall Yomama's "very first" response to a question re: Blago. His response was, "NO ONE on my team has had ANY contact what-so-ever with the gov." Of course, that statement has been "adjusted" several times now with lots of help from the MSM.

Your half-breed president-elect is making it very clear that he believes, when talking to fools, there's no reason to tell the truth, and judging from the peoples response, he's obviously right.

Why don't you tell us about all the Waxman investigations? I'd like to know how they could leave the ground from 2000-2007 since republicans ruled Congress then.

Even since 2007, Waxman has been tepid in his using his investigative power. Any investigations he has made have concentrated on policy, not personality as republicans often do, and do not focus on Bush the person.

Or do I need to remind you of what republicans did for the 8 Clinton years?

If I had my way the dems WOULD be holding daily hearings on republican mismanagement and issuing daily statements as to the culpability of the republicans in leading us to this economic crisis. they'd be taking out full-page ads in papers and buying ads on radio torching republicans' policies and personal lives.

But that's just me.

i knew you wouldn't be smart enough to catch it. Pig Nose is a congressman, not a senator!
