Obama - young & naive

Omama, young & naive, can't handle the pressure
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1208/16882.html

if he can't handle the pressure of reporters noting what he gets for lunch, how will he ever handle the real world of the "unfriendly" press when he makes a foll of himself in the White House??????

He could piss himself on the White House lawn, and the MSM will give him a pass.

I think we can expect to see more of his resistance to the constant coverage. He knows the MSM is not going to "go after" him, not after they put so much effort into getting him elected.

The things you people celebrate! Must be due to the desperation brought on by the groundswell of support Obama is getting.

Clinging to trivialities.

The flagrant and out-of-control bias of the media is only trivial to leftists, since it's never directed at them.

dear BLT or HLF or whatever:
we are not celebrating, only reporting the news about the news - if the news people are unhappy with Obama they will report it.....you are going to have to live with that.

Or are you one of those screaming liberals that only want "good" news reported, where you get to define "good"

one of these days you are going have a shit fit when you realize that only as popular as the :news: reports.....

he only carried , what about 53% of the popular vote??

2010 here we come..love and kisses the republicans

I rest my case.

good article there Spider, it supports what i said - the screaming liberals only want to publish the news they deem "good"

I want to lick the sweat from his glistening pecs

In this country, 53% is huge and last time I checked, enough to govern with a plurality.

2010? LOL, after the Depression of 2009 gets firmly locked around the neck of the republican party (and rightly so), they'll be lucky to hold on to what they have now.

I do find it funny how the conservative hatred for the "MSM" can shift so quickly. Do you people have any convictions that aren't based on whim?

Blue said...

we haven't changed our opinion of the MSM - we still want them to report accurately - all the news, not just want the liberals want them to report

and to "spin" the news the same for both democrats & republicans - see Spiders link for an example of what we don't want

as long as MSM is liberal biased I will complain and again see Spiders link for an example of liberal bias

there is no way anyone can tell me that Spiders link is not an example of MSM bias

4% & I win in 2012

and back on topic - why can't Obama handle the pressures of being in the spotlight 24/7???

comes with he job....

Bush never complained...
Clinton did....

go figure

If the media doesn't do the liberals' bidding, what are my monthly dues going for?

You're drawing a pretty early conclusion that "Obama can't handle the pressure of being in the spotlight 24/7". Perhaps you might wait and see how things go when he actually takes office?

But I know. You hang on every little bit of negativity as solace for your devastating losses last month. The more personal the effects on Obama, the more enjoyable you will find it. Too bad his granny died before he was elected. Your satisfaction would have so much greater had she waited until he won.

To borrow a phrase from another blog, "the schadenfreude losers" are out in full force. That's about all conservatives have left since destroying our economy and losing the reins they held so tightly for so many years.

It's sad, in a way. Made sadder still because the right is not using this as a time of reflection on their failed policies and mismanagement but instead to relish the difficulties we face and hope for Obama's failure.

just as the liberals prayed for Bush to fail....

and you are right I will relish each mis-step Obama makes....

just as the liberals celebrated anytime Bush did an unpopular thing

We don't pray. Besides, he failed without prayer!

Good to see you put "Country First"!

Blue said...

yes, I put country first. 3 tours in Vietnam & 30 years in the defense industry prove that

Obama & Princess Caroline & you don't = all you care about is disseminating liberal & socialist propaganda.....

Russia is about to rehabilitate Stalin, I fully expect the liberal trash in this country to support that effort

Defense industry = corporate welfare at its very worst and most wasteful.

Figures.

I think everyone is missing the real question here and yet another example of the media not asking the hard questions ... that question is this: Was the tuna that Obama was eating dolphin-safe or not dolphin-safe?

The dolphin makes it extra-tasty! :-9

"Defense industry = corporate welfare at its very worst and most wasteful."

How do you figure? Welfare is support for producing nothing. The defense industry gets a lot of federal money, but they produce, well, defensy stuff.

What is your alternative to this current situation? Government-run defense industry, instead of private contractors/businesses? That never worked very well whenever it has been tried. The only success I can think of in such a setting is the Manhattan Project. Nazi Germany is a perfect example of a government-run defense industry getting bogged down, and eventually defeated, by government inefficiency and beauracracy. They had something like 60 different projects for one jet fighter going on, spreading out manpower and funding so thinly that the project never came about. A private business would never do something so wasteful, or else they wouldn't be in business for long.
