Knock It Off, Gunny!

When I established this blog as a reaction to what all of our regulars saw as censorship of the site we previously called home I vowed never to ban anyone from commenting, censor or delete any comments. I have violated my word only once; when someone published C-Bug's personal E-mail address. I'm close to doing it again if Gunny cannot lay off the insults and threats. This place is supposed to be about the free exchange of ideas, not personal insults and threats of lethal force. It is not as if I have not heard and used those words before; it is simply by their endless repetition that they become extremely tiresome.

Feel free to delete any posts of mine you find too offensive in reaction to Gunny.

But I won't let people bully me like that without a response.

Annie said...

I don't delete posts, HLF; but this is not the place for threats of violence and insults to no purpose. I can get that kind of junk in any street-corner beer joint. I stopped drinking lo these many years ago so I wouldn't have to put up with it.

Reminds me of the NFL - the retaliator gets flagged and the provoker goes back to the huddle with a silly smirk and a free ticket to continue being an complete ass.

How profound of you, anon idiot.

"HLF" contributions to this blog. These represents 95% of its posts. Where as most bloggers take a break from 'attacks' - "HLF" never lets up. These are only from the last dozen or so threads; and the few posts I've left out are simply those without personal attacks on another poster - it seems to have a strange attraction to Goober, Gunny, and Jimbo; maybe it fantasizes about them? The others are profanity laced posts insulting ideology.

Enjoy reading "HLF" examples of liberal tolerance. Talk about TIRESOME!:

How profound of you, anon idiot.

HLF said...
Wow. You people are harsh.
More proof of the bitter, resentful, angry basis to conservatism.

HLF said...
Well of course. You're all Florence Nightingales tending to the poor and the sick.

HLF said...
Idiot.
Goob, love that crystal ball.

HLF said...
OH Jimbo, all that macho talk! The testosterone literally oozed from my computer screen.
Actually, all that fake bravado and fascist posturing is what's wrong with this country. Your kind has created a harsh, cruel, ugly culture.
That is until you need something then you turn into a big whiny girl.

HLF said...
Gunny, sounds like you and Jimbo need to get a room full of guns and please each other as only men can please men.

HLF said...
Oh, that was so manly! I'll bet Jimbo got wood at that! Maybe he'll call you now that you gave out your personal info!
Thanks for illustrating for me the reason I left the Midwest.
You are quite the bitter, deluded freak. You think you can insult people and not get it thrown back at you? I hope you get cancer and die. I hope everyone around you gets cancer and dies. I despise people like you.

HLF said...
Oh Gunny, you sure do know how to sweet talk a man!
DId you learn that when your Daddy was taking you from behind or when your brothers were filling your mouth?
You're a bully. A freakshow in a civilized culture. I hope you have an "accident" while cleaning one of your many weapons. We all know what a love of weapons says about what a man is packing between his legs. That must be why your Daddy always made you take the bottom position.

HLF said...
Even in your dreams your dick isn't that big. Guys like you usually drive big trucks to compensate for their lack of endowment and to cover up the intense fear you feel when you simply walk out your front door.
Most bullies are just big cowards. All conservatives are filled with fear just like you. You act like we're in some white trash bar you frequent where you can stare down someone and think you've won an argument.
Because that's what you are: white trash. From your ideas to the way you come across it's white trash. I can almost smell you from here.

HLF said...
Hey whackjob, you lumped a whole race into one big monolithic entity.
My whole life I've seen the most privileged class of people -white males- whine when everything doesn't go their way. Just look at how you whine about losing the election and that the media is against you, that you can't get a fair shake in the media. AWWWWW.
It's pathetic and stupid, like most things that come from Goober.

See any threats of violence in there?

The harshest of my posts are in response to incredibly harsh posts directed towards me.

So typical of you to post just the responses (which aren't bad and contain no threats to shoot anyone) and not what was directed at me.

Here they are, just the ones from Gunny. I'm sure you'll find them full of good cheer, Anon. The ones from Goob and Jimbo aren't quite as harsh but nowhere near civil:

Seems to me like the best part of HLF ran down his mother's chin when my dog took his dick out of her mouth.
----------

Tell you what mister, my real name is John Tate and I live at 5417 Monticello Rd. Shawnee Mission, KS. Come say that shit to my face and I'll blow a hole in you that you could read a newspaper through. Till I see your ugly ass face at my door I'll just assume that you are a cowardly no dick piece of dog shit.
----------

Just what I figured. A no balls, yellow cocksucker. Come on HLF. Come see your daddy. I knew you didn't have the balls to back up all of that reckless talk with some action. Your momma whined like a little bitch when I fucked her in her fat ass and concieved you, you goddamn sorry excuse for a man.
-----------

A man don't need to be armed to get over on a cum guzzler like you. Yea, my dick ain't much bigger around than a beer can but it's pretty long though. Seemed to fit your momma's ass and your daddy's mouth just fine. Bet it'd fit yours too if you'd just come see me. Or you could leave your real name and address and I spend the money to come see you just to see the chicken shit look on your face before you ran away like the goddamned coward you are. You sure you ain't french, boy? And yeah I'm calling you boy. I'm sure you got lots of experience sucking off all the other boys in your neighborhood.

Okay, now I've done something I said I would never do, deleted a post and the entire string of comments that accompanied it. I did not do this in order to protect anyone other than myself. I cannot assume the inherent financial and moral liability that someone will take action on a threat and do violence to someone based upon what he reads here. I am not intelligent enough to accomplish the feat of locating someone via his IP address; but I know for a fact that such people exist. One of them tracked me down several years ago when Jack and I were living in La Jolla to disabuse me of my wicked, wicked ways. Nothing happened and Jack shooed the fool off without bloodshed, but the fact is that bloodshed could have occurred.

I also know for a fact based upon some E-Mail correspondence with a certain contributor to this site that there are serious, deadly individuals out there who are trained to do violence so profound as to be unimaginable should they desire. This contributor never provokes or curses anyone, simply states his opinion. If this person were to ever decide to harm someone, the target of his attack would never see him coming until it was too late.

As I said, the financial and moral responsibility is far too great for me to bear to allow threats of lethal force against another commenter to stand. Someone posted a comment about "capping" Hillary Clinton. I did not delete that comment but did ask the commenter to refrain from threatening the life of a U. S. Senator. I don't need a visit from the Secret Service, thank you. I also do not need a visit from the local constabulary about a murder or attempted murder that began with a visit to this site.

WTF? Have i been in a coma? I'm here every day and i don't have a clue as to what you guys are talking about! Yeah, i know about the liberal puke, (totally irrelevant) but somebody named Gunny? I've never seen that name listed here.

alan said...

I'm with you Spider, I've been trying to figure out what has been going on. I already posted a response to HLF on another thread.....but reading what "Gunny" supposedly said, I have to say I would take HLF's moronic (IMO) opinions over the blatant nasty mouth. At least opinions have some form of value and make you think.

Jimbo said...

So, FREAK - I hadn't read any of your posts until Anon so thoughtfully posted them (and I can assure you I’ll continue that trend) but even with your documented posts, things are still running over '3:1 nasty' tilted toward you. You get nasty without provocation. (C-Bug's last email to me before her 'affliction' was one asking if your posts angered me. Let me make it clear they don't, mainly because I don't read them.) Others here only get nasty after you've insulted them or their ideology with no provocation whatsoever.

Argue that, dipshit. (Yes - you ARE a dipshit - deny as you will - you are quite useless with no real ideological point - you just want to make folks angry. Won't work with me. I have a one-year old grandson more mature than you.)

Annie - I again apologize for this dipshit following a link back here from Moonbattery. As over there (where he calls himself "Dino" - like Fred Flintstone’s ugly dumb dinosaur-dog), his only objective is to cause hemorrhaging. He's about as useful as AIDS. I've made it a point to ignore him, as I will continue doing as I am able.

Question Annie; how many times will you allow someone to call you a dumb bitch before you retaliate?

Just curious.

Your friend, neighbor, and partner in liberation from liberal totalitarianism,

Jimbo.

Gunny was a guy who represented himself to be from Kansas and who had possibly the filthiest mouth and the most threatening manner I have ever encountered. I would have left his comments in place had they had the slightest redeeming social value. I am 64-years old and thought that nothing I heard regarding excretory and procreative functions and sexual aberation could ever shock me. I was wrong. You did not have the pleasure of reading Gunny's last comment because I held it for moderation [a la Jon Ray] before publishing it. The guy is seriously deranged and I believe, armed and extremely dangerous.

Relax darlin, it's the one's who don't talk that you have to worry about. Living in Brooklyn should've taught you that. Then again, Sheepshead Bay is one of our more tranquil areas. ;)

Hey guys,

I am sorry I haven't said much lately, but I have had a fit of un-inspiration. But this gunny guy intrigues me. He is what you call a internet tough guy. Someone with this demeanor can talk the world while in his mothers basement, but will wet his pants if ever confronted. I will google his address and one day with nothing to do I will prove my point. I feel deleting posts that imply violence to another person should be deleted, it is the moderators job to insure the safety and well being of the posters and the integrity of the site. There is such a thing as good taste and civility.

Right-on cow. BTW, there was a "military-type" guy (at least that was the intended impression) called "Gunny" who used to advertise a link to his website at PIG.com but it doesn't seem to be there any more. They seem to have a pretty good bullshit filter there which may explain his no longer being on their site.

I never called Annie that. I like Annie.

And if you thought my posts were as bad as Gunny's you have a problem with judgement.

What good is a blog with only one side of the political spectrum represented?

Hey, Jimbo...

Did someone call me a dumb bitch and I missed it?

Here's some reality for you. Re: Freddie and Fannie's lack of regulatory oversight. Though F&F STILL were not the genesis of our present problem. This just shows the extent of corruption among republicans that led us to this place:

BREAKING NEWS ABOUT FREDDIE MAC CORRUPTION

Proves REPUBLICANS helped bring about the collapse! So much for Gingrich 2012! HE'S TOAST.

AP IMPACT: How Freddie Mac halted regulatory drive

Internal Freddie Mac budget records show $11.7 million was paid to 52 outside lobbyists and consultants in 2006. Power brokers such as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich were recruited with six-figure contracts. Freddie Mac paid the following amounts to the firms of former Republican lawmakers or ex-GOP staffers in 2006:

_Sen. Alfonse D'Amato of New York, at Park Strategies, $240,000.

_Rep. Vin Weber of Minnesota, at Clark & Weinstock, $360,297.

_Rep. Susan Molinari of New York, at Washington Group, $300,062.

_Susan Hirschmann at Williams & Jensen, former chief of staff to House Majority Leader Tom DeLay, R-Texas, $240,790.

Freddie Mac's chairman and chief executive, Dick Syron, and McLoughlin, senior vice president for external relations, used Clark and Weinstock extensively, Weber said in an e-mail Friday.

"I personally met with the CEO several times and with Hollis and his team regularly," Weber said in the e-mail. "Clark and Weinstock worked effectively and intensely for Freddie Mac under Dick Syron and Hollis McLoughlin."

The tactics worked — for a time. Freddie Mac was able to operate with a relatively free hand until the housing bubble ultimately burst in 2007.

Commercial banks regarded Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae as competitors and were anxious to pick up business that would result from scaling back the two companies.

Pushing back, Freddie Mac enlisted prominent conservatives, including Gingrich and former Justice Department official Viet Dinh, paying each $300,000 in 2006, according to internal records.

Gingrich talked and wrote about what he saw as the benefits of the Freddie Mac business model.

Dinh wrote a legal analysis of private property rights that viewed a hypothetical government-enforced sale of Freddie Mac assets as constitutionally suspect.

The AP previously described, in October, how Freddie Mac thwarted efforts to bring a tough regulatory bill sponsored by Republican Sens. Chuck Hagel of Nebraska, John Sununu of New Hampshire, Elizabeth Dole of North Carolina and John McCain of Arizona to a full Senate vote.

At a meeting days after Hagel's bill went to the full Senate, Syron and McLoughlin berated the company's in-house lobbyists for failing to keep Hagel's bill corralled in committee, said the four people familiar with events at Freddie Mac at the time.

Freddie Mac shifted into high gear, secretly paying a Republican consulting firm, Washington-based DCI Group, $2 million to kill Hagel's legislation. The covert lobbying campaign targeted Republican senators in 2005-06.

According to the newly obtained records, DCI's deployment was part of a broader campaign that targeted mainly Republicans on Capitol Hill.

Fannie and Freddie should never have existed in the first place. They are the children of liberals- Incubus and Sucubus. And then put on steroids by Clinton anfd his cronies. Then you blame republicans when the evil rears its ugly head.

And as I say as a Libertarian, is that ALL politicians and the government should be separate from business.

Reminds me of the young boy and the old dog.

The young boy, who was a very smart boy, found pleasures in teasing an old dog. The old dog tried the best he could to ignore the boy, but since most boys were nice and fun to play with and well, since he's a dog, he would forget.

So the game goes on and on, the boy teasing and tormenting, the dog getting more and more frustrated and until the day he bites the boy. Not a big bite mind you, more of a nip, but it's enough to break the skin.

The old dog, no matter that he has been a devoted pet and protected his family for many years, by biting the boy is "proven to be aggressive and dangerous". He is killed.

Yes it's sad that the old dog, through no real fault of his own, is put to death.

But even sadder is that the boy will never know that he has lost a companion and teacher in the dog.
******************
Adding an American slant to this old tale - blame. There always has to be blame in America.

So who is to blame for this tragedy?
1. Obviously the dog who bit the boy, which out which none of this would be necessary.
2. The boy, while being slightly smarter than a dog, isn't so smart as to be able to control his perversion, even for his own self-preservation.
3. The boys parents and his peers. The action of the old dog makes it obvious the boy's education is lacking and needs to be, at a minimum, polished...and bandaged. The boy's education was ignored by everyone except an dog who just wanted a friend. An old dog who waited and waited hoping for a 'more educated', a 'smarter' person to teach the boy, but he could wait no longer...and paid the ultimate price with his sacrifice.

A life gift, a great gift of love - given to a boy who isn't even smart enough to stop tormenting old dogs.

Maybe the boy will learn the lesson and come to appreciate the gift. Probably not, wasting the life and gift.

As for one who actually kills the dog. They can't be blamed, they just follow orders and cya. They are the same in every country and every century.

And the story teller....just an old shop keeper who serves fresh coffee, day-old pie while minding his own business, telling stories and occasionally throwing scrapes to the dogs that wander by.

Annie said...

That's a very good analogy, Anon.

People like me? Pray tell what am I like, HLF?

I shall compose a post regarding F & F, the CRA, etc. for you to refute. In the meantime, please search for one act of Congress, one federal court case or one executive order that led to the deregulation of the financial markets and ultimately, this economic crisis. I also vow to not use links to articles contained in those paragons of journalistic integrity, the NY Times or the WND.

Hi, CTj...

I suspect, given what I know about the military service records of our regular posters that there are far more men who fit this category than I realize. They never curse, threaten or attempt to intimidate others and are unfailingly respectful for the opinions of others.

There was a guy at the old TT site who called himself sechem. He had fought in wars around the world for thirty years and was a military contractor [for Blackwater I suspect] in Iraq and Afghanistan. I wish I could have enticed him over here.
